Hate to be the spoilsport, but does anyone know what you can actually win from this?
edit: some people online are saying if you grab a rubber ball, thats what they mail you. the recycled balls are the plastic ones with the gifts in them.
I hope that having a mouse with a working left button isn't required to play this. Guess I'll find out in 6hrs.
There's a How to Play button there, which basically just says you can either use your mouse or you can use the directional keys on your keyboard.
The main hurdle is dealing with the perspective, as it changes to a birds eye view. My advice is to use the reflection on the walls to judge your claw location (or hell open another browser on another computer for an alternate view), and aim for the bigger balls. Of course, it's limit one prize per household so go for the small clear prize balls if you dare.
The most hilarious miss I've witnessed thus far is someone managing to catch a big ball, having the claw drag it over the hole, and because the claw was still swinging when the ball was released the ball swung and bounced off the wall and back out off the lid of the opening.
Their Facebook page has some pictures of some of the items.
The main prize 99% of people will win are those colored balls that look like balloons.
People have won fruitcake, a crossbow, a slinky, a bell ("ring for service" type), magic 8-ball, state of Texas belt buckle, text shirts "mustache rides 5 cents" and "your mom wants me", golden good luck cat, chattering teeth, ping pong paddles, hoodie...
Pretty neat idea. I wonder how they rigged and built it.
I saw a pk in line and was like nah that couldn't be you.
The technology seems simple enough, you see RC cars controlled via computer interface. Pretty soon you can control quite a few things using your smartphone.

Neat idea I guess, but I'm not waiting around for six hours
Chris Hanson is multra-hot, I'd take him over a kid any day.
Well, I'd take a flaming bag of poo over a kid, tho.

People turn off their computers?
I'm just gonna go play Bayonetta and SSFIV for a bit, then we'll see if I can win
When you have to pay your own hydro bill and that adds up over the course of the year, yeah, some of us do.
What does paying your water bill have to do with leaving your computer on or off?

and this
You then switch to a claw-cam view which is weirdly isometric, and you have a minute to align your claw and hit the grab button.
I barely missed the tiny prize capsule. Slipped right out of my claw.

Good tip. :P
IT WAS ME, WHAT UP
e: Check the corners, a lot of people have been grabbing some in the corners and winning them.
