ARs, LMGs, SMGs, and pistols do not have bullet drop guys. You can point right at a guy from sniper range and hit him with every shot. Snipers have to compensate. If they didn't they'd be way too good. If other weapons had to compensate they wouldn't be able to counter a sniper. Often the best counter to a sniper is a non-sniper.
Snipers need the ability to paint targets somehow, work with vehicles to take out specific targets. I am not feeling creative enough to describe it right now, but something to make them more worthwhile then assholes killing random dudes across the map.

This was the best thing. Having a birds eye view of a contested flag to rain down hell from a battleship's guns was incredible fun.

If you look in the bottom right hand corner by the explosions and the door to the building to the right of the explosions there are two groups of soldiers pointing guns (and shooting?) at each other.

Playing the Crysis 2 demo again made me hate urban fighting more.
BC2 "urban" stuff I think is perfect. A good amount of open space with some bit of tight corridors. Fuck Heavy Metal style though. More Arica Harbor or Atacama Desert scope please.
