After some thought, maybe we should all hunker down in Bretonnia if you can make it safe for us there. If we can get all of our endangered figures there, we could make this go another round. Of course, letting Nurgle dominate the area would give him the win, so we would have to watch out for that, too!

I find this actually quite amusing, to be honest. We could do one thing, and Khorne wins. Or we could do another thing, and Slaanesh wins. Or we could do another thing, and I win.
Unfortunately, I don't have another Field of Ecstasy. You guys are on your own in Bretonnia; the best I can do is avoid making it worse by moving there myself.
So, Khorne does the thing where he wins. Slaanesh does the thing where s/he wins. You do the thing where you win. Tzeentch does... something.
And (almost) everyone is happy!
Unnecessary reminder: End of game check first looks for a DIAL victory, then over 50 VP, then whether 5 regions are ruined. Finally, check to see if the OWC deck is empty.

Probably going to post my turn after lunch. Delaying so far only because: 1) I'm honestly not sure what's in my best interest at the moment; 2) we've had to cooperate in order to prevent a Khorne win anyway, so talking's always useful.

I thought there may be a way to prevent Khorne, the leader now, from winning while no one else wins this round. Apparently not. Looks like this is the end round.
Nope; Franz's Decree showing up on the last round doesn't immediately end the game. The game doesn't end until you reach the end phase, check, and find an empty OWC deck.
Our Khorne-thwarting strategy is going to have to be to force him to chase us into ruined areas, where he can't get at us with spells. He's used all his Blood Frenzies, so he has no way to delay for free.

Cultist from Brettonia to The Border Princes, 4/6 PP
This is probably your best chance to get a Warp Shield on an Acolyte without the risk of it being followed-up by a Field of Carnage. Just think about how much easier this round will go for you once you've got an invulnerable, mobile unit.
FYI, I just posted a move, then deleted it immediately after Tzeench edited his.
I'm going to go to lunch before I redo it. EDIT: or not

I suppose in full disclosure (because now I feel bad) I should mention: I wasn't commenting on the fact it was a bad move. I actually think it was a really good move as it forces Slaanesh to burn a card in order to ensure she still has a chance at winning.
I was commenting on the fact that that's the region where I wanted to go :P
True but I could get trapped there without a shield. That would be bad. I couldn't be sure Slaanesh would cover it. He may just have taken the risk concerning card plays or dice rolls. This has been a brain-teaser!

Hmm, I forgot about the empire now that you mention it. If it wasn't for the Empire, it would have forced a card play pure and simple. She either would have to cover the slot or lose and I'm sure she would have covered it (while hating you!).
Personal preference, I'd rather you [strike]strike[/strike] the original action and then make a new post with the new action, rather than editing a post that has been responded to. I don't have a problem with a player changing their action, though, as long as the next player hasn't gone yet.
Accidentally exposed cards: Temporal Stasis in Tzeentch's hand and Insidious Lies for Slaanesh. These are still in their hands and may be played as desired.

Mmm, I don't know if it's necessarily throwing the game though. Unless we know ahead of time that she has no cards in her hand, in which case she just would lose, but I think we all still have cards.
It been done in previous games. Maybe not this one but it can happen.
Hehe! After all this plotting, what if Khorne just does whatever he wants and wins. Bastard!
You can check hand sizes on Handtracker- total deck size is 24, so add the cards in deck + discards and subtract from 24 to see how many someone has in hand. Or just ask.
Witch Hunters (remove corruption from Khorne at Hero) and Peasant Uprising (peasants increase resistance) are active
Chaos effects:
Norsca: Carnage (others cannot be summoned away) and Ecstasy (no dice from figures)
Bretonnia: Cry (no corruption placed) and Shield (acolyte cannot die in battle)

If Khorne doesn't win this turn.
And Norsca doesn't ruin.
And then Franz's Decree comes up next turn.

Although, to be fair, one of my scenarios consisted of me asking if you could do that so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Slaanesh has 1 in addition to the Insidious Lies.
I've been going back this thread and manually counting each round when I've needed to know. Silly me.
