Really disappointed at how this looks. I haven't played the game yet, but reception and quick looks aren't promising. Both prior iterations were much more polished, looked better, better animated and had a better theme in the Old West instead of the New West.
Here's hoping this doesn't sink the franchise and they return to the 1800's.
Finished up Bound in Blood a few nights ago and loved every single moment of it. Ray is the man.
Bummer to hear that the Cartel sucked, but seriously can't wait to play the original CoJ despite the warnings I've gotten about too many stealth sections.
The stealthing really isn't that bad. It's just that playing Ray is so much damn fun, you don't care about whips and hiding. You just want to thump that bible and pull those triggers.
I don't even know why they give you the option to not have the bible out. I can't imagine what kind of weirdo isn't gonna wanna shout about murderin' sinners while slinging lead.
Rented this and yeah... it ain't pretty. I expected a pretty horrible experience, but this is the least fun I've had with a beloved franchise since DNF.
Even the original Call of Juarez captured the weight of shooting than this does. There isn't a single element that works well. Go back and play Bound in blood instead.
