There's an option when you right click (I think?) the name in chat and "report spammer". If it blocks them from the rest of the server, that's awesome.

I had to climb the mountain to the south west of Meridian then go all the way around to get there. At one point it considered me to be in the manufacturing area of Meridian and took me off my mount.

So this is the list of what I've found so far. Anything I'm missing?
Freemarch / Lake of Solace (Level cap of item is 30)
5620,5680: Start here. You should see a chest that will contain some potions that will let you breathe underwater.
    5460,6000: Casket in some rocks.
5550,6225: Go all the way down and there should be a chest.
    5875,6210: Should find a body.
5980,6125: Have to solve a puzzle here.
    6310,6225: Search a barrel.
    6700,5985: Search the box.

    5900,5045: Cairn behind Meridian.

Stonefield (Level cap of item is 35)
5340,5370: Have to climb up the mountain to find a cairn.

To get to the next two, you have to climb the mountain to the east of the bridge connecting Stonefield and Scarlet Gorge. If you're heading from Stonefield towards the bridge, you should see a path on the right before the bridge.

    4665,5010: Another cairn.
    4600,4975: Telescope puzzle.

Scarlet Gorge (Level cap of item is 35)
4655,3095: You have to climb to the top to find a cairn.
3620,2775: Sliding puzzle. To get here you have to find a lift at 4005,3075. After the lift, follow the path and cross the bridge then head right after the bridge. Keep following the path then you have to jump down to the wooden ledges at the end. Puzzle is under the ledges.

A warning for Defiant players. Since the puzzle is in Guardian territory, even if you sneak your way to the lift, right at the top there will be two guards waiting for you that are pretty tough. If you're a Kelari get your racial ability ready. Otherwise go in a party if you're lower level.

Scarwood Reach (Level cap of item is 35)
4065,4425: A cairn is located here.
3100,4400: Puzzle location. To get here I started to climb the mountain just to the south of the entrance to King's Breach.

Droughtlands (Level cap of item is 40)
8335,6205: Puzzle is located here. I had to wait for 2 people ahead of me trying to do this puzzle for the longest time so I'll put a hint in spoilers.
Look on the back of each cage.

Moonshade Highlands (Level cap of item is 40)
6460,1250: There is a teleporter that will take you to the puzzle. You'll probably need a couple people to help you with this one.

Silverwood (Level cap of item is 30)
6420,3150: There is a plaque here that will teleport you to the puzzle. It's behind a couple of NPCs.

Gloamwood (Level cap of item is 35)
4535,2370: You have to make your way to Shadefallen Keep and you'll find a plaque on the wall at this coordinate that will teleport you to the puzzle.

My one complaint so far: Players griefing on zone events. We failed an event because our camp's wardstones fell, which is nothing new, but the reason they fell is because enemy players were more interested in killing us than doing the zone event. Which is fine and all, and I wouldn't complain, because pvp happened on a pvp server, and there existed a pvp solution to the problem. But what about other players on their side who wanted to do the zone event? I am assuming that the zone events are for both sides at once here, and if only one side gets the event I'll just put my foot in my mouth, but if you can grief your own faction members by forcing the enemy faction to fail their side of the zone defense, I think thats a problem.

Note: "Don't play on a pvp server durrr" is not a useful response. But somehow its the response I expect to get.

Anyone got any shots of some high level leather? 35+?

I'm not looking for anything off the wall, but I keep hoping the appearance of leather becomes less "meh" later on. This is perfectly acceptable at low levels, but later I'd hope for something, I dunno, a little more impressive, I guess? My level 14 Cleric already looks pretty solid in his chain mail, my mage has had a few nice looking robes already and some cool offhand items.

So far my 25 rogue has been, well, pretty meh.

Actually they always appear in the same spots.
There are some pre-determined areas, but the thing is you wont always have a rift there, well... outside of the first zones which are always packed, and it's not always the same TYPE of rift. Even within the same plane, it's likely a different rift even than the last one you encountered.

    Still dynamic, quit your nit-picking.
Not as dynamic as it could be. Freemarch is always water and death.

I've seen a life rift in freemarch once. It sent some invasions out to take out a death foothold.

Well I won't tell you that, but just pointing out that in pretty much 100% of the games I've played all the GOOD parts of pvp (specific zone pvp events, any version of battlegrounds or arenas) were still available on PvE servers. The only part that isn't, world pvp, starts awsome for like five minutes then turns into who can grief/gank the most.

I mean if that's your thing, all power to ya, but you have to take the bad with the good.

Yeah, I'm not sure what people expect on pvp servers anymore. Any legitimate world pvp has by and large been phased out by instanced pvp, and "world pvp" may as well just be code for "griefing"

And again, go back and watch the pvp video, they actually talk about how part of the pvp experience is interrupting people trying to rift and killing them while they're preoccupied by mobs.

I enjoy a challenge while leveling up, running across enemy players or fighting over quest objectives, and thus far I haven't been disappointed. The first thing I said was that this is my only complaint, being able to grief players of your own faction in that way.

    Story time!

So I was chilling in Gloamwood, doing a bit of questing. I tried to do a nearby death rift, only to get ganked partway through. No problem, I ran back and managed to still get silver in it.

    Then the invasion began.

Due to a bug, I couldn't see any rifts. So after searching in vain for a minute, we get the warning that we have one wardstone left. So I decide to screw the rifts and focus on defending Gloamwood Pines' wardstone. They're all streaming in from the bridge, which gave us a natural chokepoint to take on the invaders. Things were looking good.

    Then the other invasion began.

Defiants. A ton of them. They stormed into our town, slaughtered us and destroyed our wardstone. The invasion was successful. When I rezzed, the defiants were gone: a SHITTON of death invaders, no doubt flush from their victory, were stirring up shit in the center of town. Slowly we got back together and managed to clean up the packs.

    Then the defiants came back.

They came from behind this time, sandwiching us between themselves and the hordes of angry dead. We were pushed back up to our own graveyard, where we tried to pick off a few of the lower level players thinking they had safety in numbers (they weren't). I picked off a few before realizing that the town was utterly lost. I just remember the defiants keeping us boxed in while another part of the pack killed invaders and townsfolk. At that point I mounted up and quietly set off towards the mountains and took the long way back to questing.

I tank most rifts and get shards all the time, though no epic ones. Its pretty easy to get gold level contribution...beyond that, its a tossup though. You need to do well every phase, not just the last.

Try soloing some higher level minor rifts. I've gotten shards that way as well.

That Leap sounds better than the high elves' flying thing. The flying ability doesn't actually fly vertically at all, and it'll easily be stopped short by rocks/fences/etc. that are between you and the destination. Oh, and while it'll put you at a higher elevation if you're going up a hill or something, it will not allow you to bypass otherwise-impassable cliffs and such. If it's too vertical to run up, the wings won't get you there, either.

The leap and the High Elf fly is actually the EXACT same thing, in order to get those impressive jumps all you have to do is... jump before you click and you get some damn good air.

Is it possible to ever upgrade your primary backpack within the game? Or, like WoW, are you are stuck with the standard one forever? If so, seems a pretty compelling reason to drop the extra 10 and go for the collector's edition.

Is there any long term downside to taking 3 gathering professions? Ie, in WoW (though this was added much later), the stat perks for the gathering professions are all pretty bad compared to the crafting professions (outside a few exceptions like mining for tanks). I'm not aware of anything like this in Rift but there are some BOP recipes as I understand, and not sure if there are any other 'perks'. Is the any of the BOP stuff too good to pass up?

Crafters all seem to have dailies and their own currency for patterns. Is this something where I'd be missing out on something worthwhile as opposed to just gathering and feeding guild crafters or selling mats?

I don't necessarily care about not being able to make my own stuff since I'll be able to find people to craft things, just don't know if by not crafting at all you're missing out on some stat or great self only equipment.

Also, are there level requirements for the higher crafting tiers or can you do everything on a low level alt?

Right but that didn't answer any of the questions :P

    - Are there any crafter-only bonuses a full time gatherer will miss out on, and are they worth worrying about? (for example double crafting in WoW is a pretty huge stat bonus, as well as self only epic items for some classes like Alch trinkets).

Me and Louie are mega fucking casual but we would likely be down with this if enough people were interested. Currently we were planning on just joining the American crew as the ping is fine.

Oh I am also pretty casual, don't worry. The guild will just be for fun and profit.

I guess we'll talk about things when the servers are actually up :D
