My current team is Zero/Task Master/??? I can't find anyone where I can actually land combo's like I can with the other to. I also need someone who can assists ground bounce now that I'm starting to get the hqcf + jump command in to quickly leap of the ground and do Zero's dive kick thing/Task masters super after a air combo

Sadly I'm on PS3... wish I could take my copy back and trade it for the 360 version.
My 360 red ringed last week and I just got it back from the repair center today... but I had already reserved the PS3 version and was like "ehhh maybe I should get MvC3 for PS3 anyway since my 360 isn't reliable".
But... I have way more friends on 360 and its easier to play people on XBL thanks to meta tags, etc. I hate PS3's online.
Yeah I fought a couple of people mostly with Madden-related usernames that we're playing just so they could say they beat someone at the game. I was playing for fun. I may have got my ass handed to me, but I kept changing characters and enjoyed myself. Also, those fuckers were rude on the mics and could barely speak like a person. I can't wait for people like that to get tired of the game so the people who wanna have fun populate it more.

I just ran all of Arcade mode on hard, without using a continue, with my team. Then went 5-0 in Player Matches.
Figured I was ready.
0-7 ranked. And every time it was some stupid mistake at the end, or really early. Nothing is worse than carelessly calling in an assist and losing a guy to a hyper.
But man oh man, I have become a MONSTER with super skrull.
Tenderizer -> Human Torch-esque super -> Giant fireball super and repeat alllllllllllll the time.
Also sorry to someone on here (Mr Vynngard?) who hopped into my party last night. My brother had about 20 minutes to play before he had to go to work, and I was actually talking with him on a cell phone because my wireless headset was synched to some other controller somewhere, and couldnt respond.
And Redfield I didnt respond to your request because I was afraid of being humiliated :oops: I feel good enough now that Im up to fight whenever.

edit: And why oh why would you use a regular 360 controller for this game? I got an extra copy of the game (since I bought it 3 days early) and I am giving it to my friend. I am letting him use my extra fight stick or fight pad. If he would start with the 360 controller, I am pretty sure it would turn him off completely. He already is not a huge fan of fighting games, but making it easier to control helps.

After playing a lot last night.. I'll be dropping Super Skrull. I like the way he plays but I'm making dumb mistakes with his Tenderizer and getting punished for it. For now my main team will be Doom/Dorm/Sent.
I suck and have no idea what I'm doing, I'm not mashing buttons exactly but I have no strategy to speak of.
I've actually had a few wins... all thanks to Arthur and Ironman! Arthur's play style is so fucking simple. Run away and throw shit. And Ironman's down hard attack is so fucking ridiculous.
I wanna be good with Thor, but I'm not gonna be able to pull off grapples well until I get my fightstick, and he's all about that awesome awesome grapple.
I've played against 10 (give or take) different people and I think they all used sentinel. FUCK THAT ROBOT! What an asshole.
Btw, kinda pissed at Capcom for giving us, as IGN.com put it very well, a bare bones game... and shortly after release coming out left and right with DLC. But DAMN, those alternate costumes are sick!

I agree. I wish they hadn't put Sentinel in the game just because of how cheap people can be with him. I'm not going to hate on people for using him, just resent the fact they CAN use him, and make one of the most powerful characters in the game even stronger by saving him for last in case their other two members die, then going X-Factor with him.

Ya the mashing is REALLY throwing me off. I don't mean random button mashing, a mean repeatedly mashing one button for one attack in a combo.
For example, if I was doing a Thor jumping hard attack, into a down light attack, into a down hard attack, I would press the light attack button until the actual animation happened, then start mashing the hard attack button until that animation happened. This screws up the combo. You really gotta time the button presses and hit them only once.
This worked fine in SFIV, but the faster pace of MvC3 makes this a terrible habit. And I can't fucking get out of it!

I mean Yipes will be paired up with other Yipes and casuals will be paired with other casuals. And rage-quitters will be paired with rage quitters.
