Hi everyone!

My wife recently bought the mymybox kimona blue shark for my daughters Wii. The pads came with DDR 2. When I plug in the pads to the wii nothing happens. Does it take batteries or am I missing a step. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

KC

I can't even find that product with a Google search. What does the box say?

Is it wireless, or does it hook up to the gamecube controller slot?

I'll attach a picture of it. It came with no directions or anything. My wife bought the 2 pads with DDR 2 Hottest Dance party Wii disk. I don't think I can post a picture yet. I'll attach the website to where they show the Dance pad.

    Thanks!

It has a round plug that fits into a bank of 4 plugs. It also has an inline adapter.

    Thanks,

The website you linked does not say the pad is compatible with a Wii.

Yeah I was kind of wondering that myself. I called Wii and Konami and neither of them heard of it either and weren't sure if it was compatible. Too bad because it seems like a nice pad.

    Thanks!

Yeah I'll have to leave a message to that number. Nobody has answered the phone every time I have called. My wife is working with the company who sold it to us to find out what happened. The guy told my wife to just plug it in and it will work. He said without the inline adapter it will only work on DDR 1 Hottest party 1. It's kinda sad cause my girls want to dance but right now the pads are DOA. :(

From what it says on the website you linked, it has connectors for ps2, xbox, and gamecube. I think that we can infer from that that any Wii compatibility (if there is any) would perhaps be for gamecube games only.

I was thinking that as well. I told my wife she should probably get a return order filled out. The game stop guy up the road said he could set my girls up with the pads that came with the DDR for 20$ each but I don't know how cheap they are. I should have went this route in the first place I guess. Just bought the Wii for them for Christmas.

    Thanks for the help!
