I think that Bob's Burgers has been a mediocre series so far, but this episode is hitting on all cylinders. Seriously, this episode has been hilarious and if they manage to hit this level of quality consistently then I'm all in.

Yeah, I'm turning off Family Guy now, they're reusing a Meg plot from a few seasons ago and the show is using violence and blood like Korean animators are having a sale on red.
Yeah, um, what the fuck Family Guy? If I posted a screencap of any of this stuff I think I'd get infracted, which is weird because apparently a close-up of a dog's tail getting sliced-off and spraying blood is okay for Sunday night programming.
EDIT: And now Meg has gone completely insane. Great.
Surely it can't be more horrifying than that early Treehouse of Horror that ends with everyone's skins turning inside out. (Haven't seen the ep yet, it's in my DVR.)
The commentary for that is hilarious... apparently the poor animator who had to draw all that for a month straight was traumatized.
Ugh. I don't know what was up with Fox last night, but it wasn't pleasant. I mean, they showed a re-run of the most violent episode of American Dad, so clearly they were trying to go with some kind of theme, right?

That was a Halloween episode.
This was a regular Lisa-themed episode that involved eyeballs popping out of foreheads.
Even comically, eyeball trauma is something that makes me very, very uneasy.

Yea I really have to agree with you on the uneasiness.
I really love the simpsons and this week's episode was just.. bad.
I liked the plant making everyone relax, but eyeballs popping out? It was just gross. And really out of place for the simpsons.
I loved hearing Werner Herzog's voice on the Simpsons, but I wish it was on a better episode.
Seriously. With the depths they could have plumped just with Grizzly Man, it seems like he was wasted in this episode.

Bob on cocaine was hilarious:
Bob: I may or may not have tried crack last night
Linda: Ok
B: I dont think I did... But if i diiiiiiid. ... I liked it. heh.
L: Ok, Bobby, listen, go take a nap and I'll watch the restaurant, please?
B: Take off your clothes.
L: Bobby!
B: Nah, I gotta go to bed.
L: Bobby...
B: I don't wanna do this
L: Bobby, stop it.
B: Get your hands off me. ... Sick idiot.
L: You're acting like a freak, pull it together
B: oooooaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I'm like an ANIMAL!!!!!!! I'M LIKE KING KONG!!!!!!
L: Keep your voice down. Unbelievable.
B: Imma gonna go to bed.
L: Goodniiiiiight.
B: Go get my special pillow. Hurry hurry hurryhurry
....I dunno, maybe this thread helped brace me for the eyeball thing, but I actually liked the episode. The premise was decent, there were plenty of fun gags and it was a good use of Grandpa. I'll agree the eyeball thing was pretty off-putting, but there were some funny moments there too (here I'm thinking of a blissful Grandpa with his eyes floating around in saline-filled goggles). Hell, even Werner Herzog was funny, even if his random character killed any chance to poke fun at the man himself.
Simpsons were all right. I wasn't blown away by Cheech and Chong, but I wasn't really disappointed either. I'm amazed by the massive amount of pot references they got on the show, though.

Bob's Burgers is really good tonight.
"costume characters cold dead eyes looking at you while they make love to your wife"
If it's any consolation, I noticed that when new American Dad episodes come back the Cleveland Show is off the schedule. 6:30 Repeat AD, 7:00 Simpsons, 7:30 Bob, 8:00 FG, 8:30 New AD.
Edit: It's kind of like a wonderful animation sandwich. Only the mayonnaise has expired, but everyone agrees it used to be great, there's a new specially prepared burger that some think tastes great, but others don't like, and it's served with a side of New Coke but everyone really wants Old Coke back.
Wait gilbert gottfried got fired for making an insensitive joke after a horrible tragedy? He does it after every single one. They hired him BEFORE he made a similar joke about 9/11 3 weeks after the event. this is a year after they started using him as the duck.
edit: sorry the article alluded to him losing his job as well.
Bob Burger is getting really good. And American Dad was awesome.

At first I only liked Louise of the kids, but Gene and Tina are really getting into their groove. Tina especially, her threat to the other girl after the conflict resolution speech, I liked it.
So happy American Dad got it's old time slot back for the new episodes. Klaus should never be allowed to have anything in his bowl ever.
I liked this week's Simpsons. It does seem a little odd that they played up Bart's rampage as more disturbing than funny, then again I think they were trying to put things from Homer's perspective.
And I though Marge's bonding with Lisa was hilarious. "I rented the most depressing horse movies I could find!"
I'm starting to like Bob's Burgers quite a bit. I'm not sure how much of it is because it's becoming a better show as it goes along, or if it's just grown on me (probably a combination of both). It can still be a bit too shrill at times, but it seems to be toning that down a bit.
I love when Roger's persona's have elaborate back stories that make no sense in any kind of context or continuity. It's hilarious to me.
Oh, and American Dad and Bob's Burgers were both awesome.

You're WAY too squeamish dude. But besides that it was your typical mediocre Simpsons episode..

I laughed because it's absolutely not funny and I don't understand how would could even come to the conclusion that would be a good thing to say.
There was a lot of that on Twitter actually. Usually troll crap about Japan deserving it for Pearl Harbor.
by all that's holey hyuck hyuck.
What the hell Family Guy. What the hell.

American Dad was great, as usual.
Steam: pazython
Simpsons was terrible, as usual. Bart is just plain fucking annoying and hasn't been funny for a decade.
It's kinda funny how the two Bob's Burger kids feel more like actual children than The Simpsons does :?

Bob's Burgers really seems to be hitting its stride.
DAMN!
