The reason that muta harass is so brutal is because IdrA's a stubborn shit head when it comes to ground upgrades. When his timings are perfect, he looks amazing but it's sooo sooo fragile. He was burning all his gas (his minerals were at 3k) off of 9 geysers during that match. Losing 12 mutas off of that ball would've meant he couldn't engage into the turrets and couldn't keep Jinro at home while expanding to the far corners. It's a plan that works when you don't forget Baneling speed.

Idra lost in not teching out of mutas soon enough. The harass lost effectiveness after about the third run in. Taking out just turrets doesn't gain you much.

There is no way you can sustain a tournament worth 400k more than once or twice a year.
Unless they found a sponsor willing to take a HUGE risk.
For an organization with a 400K prize pool, they need better production than what they had today btw. Get the SCReddit Invitational people to do it if you can't.

They're going to broadcast each match twice...once in the evening for American viewers and again in the morning for European audiences.
I THINK that means Australia should be able to watch the European one.
Also I can't wait to see what as-yet-unknown teams come out of the woodwork to participate in this.
I know team thinkQuick is likely to get in on this, they're not exactly unknown but they are pretty damn good, and I bet EG and Liquid will be all over this.
And it will be at a time when I can actually watch the live matches!
I'm so happy about having a time zone that I can actually watch. I've never been able to watch the GSL because well.... I enjoy being awake at work. And a $100,000 top prize.... Jesus.

I think iNcontroL and Gretorp have both been wanting to get into casting seriously though, at least I remember iNcontroL saying as much in the Rumble in the Bronze event, so perhaps they've decided they are going to use their influence as the people who organised it to claim the top spots there.
@MrGulio - Did you never buy the premium stream to watch the GSL VODs?
@Wakkawa - iNcontroL knows you and knows your work, why not email him and ask to be involved?

i think the main thing with day9 is he is really busy with grad stuff and im sure they would want him at their studio to hopefully keep production values up (i know i know har har but i think nasl's values will be better)
so
i think its more of a "day9 probably has a megaboner for this but doesnt have the time to do it constantly"
im sure he'll be a guest caster plenty of times though
