I'm 6'4, 250 pounds (used to be 315 six months ago).
Anyway, after losing a lot of weight, I've decided that I want to buff up a bit. I have access to the following:
Two 10 pound dumbbells
One 20 pound dumbbell
A weight lifting bench that came with:
Two 10 pound weights
Two 15 pound weights
Two 25 pound weights
Do I need to buy anything more? What exercises are best at developing muscle? What regiment should I stick to?
(I've done some weightlifting off and on, and right now I can only do maybe two reps of ten with the 20 pound dumbbell [curls], and two reps of ten while benching 50 pounds).
yeah, those are pretty minimum sized weights for a guy your size.
Yeah I know. It's pretty embarrassing.
Not faulting you. We all start somewhere.
I used to weigh 360 lbs. Getting that going was the most grueling period of my life.

Congrats on the weight loss.
I've gotten a lot of usefull advice from Scooby's Workshop. Some people argue that he's got this or that point wrong, but he looks as if he knows what he's saying, and he puts a lot of stress on correct form and safety, which is a real plus if you're a beginner.
He's a pretty quirky guy, but his vids offer advice on every aspect of the sport.
