The Protomen are gearing up for an epic battle in Boston for this year's PAX East. With their battle cries rehearsed and their action bars equipped the forces of evil will not go unanswered at Friday night's concert. This is not the only battle to be fought, however...
Last October a battle raged in Danbury Connecticut. The evil robot army fought long and hard but after much bloodshed and hardship and head splitting heavy metal the forces of light prevailed. However just four months later the people of Danbury have found ourselves once again under the heel of Dr Wiley. The Protomen have heard our cries for help and felt compassion for our plight.
On March 9th in Danbury CT a battle will rage. We have learned from our mistakes and wait no longer for a hero to save us. We are not the dead and we are prepared to fight. We are your heroes for we know that we are free. But enough about us, the whole point is to ask the fine warriors of PAX East who will be traveling through the vicinity of our battlefield.

Having just joined the forum, I thought I'd second the idea that I'm heading to this with Gewurztramin. Looking forward to it
And they rocked my socks off. I was SO blown away by their music and their on-stage presence. I can't wait to see them again live at East.
To any others still on the fence about this show, there's generally plenty of free curbside parking in downtown Danbury at this venue. Just remember to bring cash, the nearest ATM is a few blocks away and afaik the concessions don't take a card.
