The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So, a friend of mine is moving back to her homeland of Sweden in a month or so. Now me being a huge comics nerd I though a nice gift for her would be a few comics in Swedish (I'm hoping for NextWave Vol 1, but frankly I'l take whatever I can find that I know is decent).
Unfortunately, the place I generally get my comics online from (Amazon UK) don't seem to have a Sedish counterpart, so I'm sort of in the shit.
Okay, so some really massive amount of Google searches later and it appears you can't buy comics in swedish. (How non-english-speaking people read comcis is lost to me)
Is this actually true, or am I being a massive spastic?
A quick look-around shows that SF-bokhandeln (The Science Fiction Bookshop) has a fairly extensive selection of comics translated into swedish. The do foreign shipping from what I can tell from the page as well, but have a minimum order of 300 swedish krona, a lttle less than 30 euro. You might have some problems navigating their site if you do not speak swedish, but you can try sending them an email here:
You can purchase Swedish comics such as Asa-Nisse, Lila Fridolf and Agent X9 on Amazon.com.
I also found another site, magazineexpress.com, where you can order Kalle Anka (Donald Duck) Musse Pig (Mickey Mouse), and the most popular Swedish comic, 91:AN (which I just ordered yesterday).

That's precisely what I'm looking for! Big chunky superhero fare.
Where do you buy them?
