I have no problem with them being in there, assuming they don't take too long. I don't really want to be sat watching Geralt's scarred witcher ass bumping and grinding away while I could be roaming around talking to and killing people.
It comes down to - is this sex scene here because it really fits and contributes as part of the story, or is it tacky service to nerds who want to see hi-res boobs and flange. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

So how did they manage to release everything in the Enhanced Cut of the Witcher? That didn't cause quite a stir if I recall.
Plus they patched the regular version that did allow all the nudity.
Even if by chance the NA version is censored, do remember there was an easy work around in the first place. Namely all you had to do was replace a few simple folders/files with the EU version and voila, problem solved.
The company knows it's audience, more importantly they pride themselves on their audience and giving the full 100% and then some. Like I said above if they got to make a compromise they will allow the above to happen again, they know what people want.
If you like or dislike nudity it doesn't really mater, most people hate censorship period, thankfully we got a good company that will make sure we are happy in the end, one way or another.

Originally she was censored, all the nudity was.
But later on they released a patch that allowed all the nudity to be seen, plus in the Enhanced version the nudity was already there without being censored.
People were able to get around the nudity at first by what I said above.

I'm loving the horizon, it just looks so nice. Usually in the distances there's either a castle or a mountain blocking your view. The rolling hills off into the horizon look amazing.

same. it was either portal 2 or witcher 2, and given how much i've enjoyed the first games in each series, the choice was clear. i've got plenty of co-op madness! -type games in my steam list, but fully-realized alternate fantasy realities?

Sadly my often poor impulse control combined with the imminent moving in of my GF and her son has caused me to go on a spending spree as of late, so waiting hasn't really been a problem. The problem is more dividing my time between so many games.
This way I don't have to lie when I say "This isn't new. I've had for awhile."

has it been confirmed yet on the chapters? last i heard it was a prologue, 3 acts and then epilogue, yet everywhere is claiming chapters 1 and not being as long as i would like.

There's a little note from what I assume is one of the CDPR dev's in the discussion for that article:
Some quick responses:
Graphics settings: Yeah, the final game will have more detailed graphics settings.
Saves: There will be a manual save feature, don’t worry!
QTEs: Oh, they’re not so bad, and they add further variety to the gameplay.
Linearity: The game opens up significantly and has lots of variation based on the choices you make. As we’ve mentioned in previous demos, there are entire locations/portions of the game you will NOT see on your first play through. And, again, there are ultimately 16 different endings/end states based on your choices and actions.
Piracy stuff: We’re releasing the game DRM-free on GOG, and in an hour or so (during the CDP Conference) we’ll talk a bit more about copy protection in other versions. Needless to say, we’re not big fans of DRM. That said, we’re removing the excuses that pirates tend to throw out there… so just buy the game if you want to play it, eh? I don’t see how that’s a problem
16:9: Checking on this. If, worst case, there’s the letterbox (black up top and bottom) is that really a huge issue? It looks all cinematic-like, and that’s how many of us used to watch movies, remember? “Widescreen version” even though we didn’t have widescreen TVs?
How it’s an RPG: Well, there’s character development, the ability to make decisions that impact the gameplay, item collection and crafting, a story, and… well…. yeah, it’s an RPG.
Still taking notes but I want to just confirm it for people who were wondering:
There will only be one version of the game, period. There is zero censorship in any version anywhere in the world it is released. Also for every purchasing platform.
