its next to the pre-order button, the big yellow thing near the center right of the page.
Oh wait, I didn't bother to set my actual birthdate and since the default birthdate made me out to be under 18, it just shows "you must be over 18 to buy this" for me.
Oh man, i thought it was gonna be an instant thing where you can watch right after the live stream finishes.
relax, odds are it'll be on youtube before the end of the day from one of the viewers who's recording the stream.
anyone have any answers about steam DRM versus GoG DRM versus retail DRM? the dev's twitter says something about a one-time activation, don't know if that's on all versions or not.

They really know that a lot of people like Triss big time.
Might be a mock up, might be she has one of those video game babe things in the Polish version of Playboy that the Americans ones some times do or did.
I hope that languages thing means I can get the Polish VAs with English subtitles. A past interview with the GoG guy seemed to say that might not happen.
* Non-GoG versions: SecuROM. One time installation on-line check. Never again checks.
* Unlimited Installs on Unlimited PC's on all versions.
* Play on up to 5 PC's at once on all versions.
how does the former work with the latter? o_O
i mean if you're DRM free, i can see the stuff in red being true, but how would the blue work unless DRM was involved?

There is DRM in all the non-GoG Versions.
Also I have no idea.
Those notes were taken directly from their slides on the stream.
If there's no web check ever after installation I'm not sure how they'd know if you were playing on more than 5 pc's at once.
I imagine what it means is that you can only have the game installed on 5 pc's at a time, however the game isn't tied to said pc's so if you remove one, you can move it to a different one thus unlimited installs. The installation Securom check probably just determines how many machines it is installed on.
Makes sense to me.
Either way, for 99.9% of non-pirates it won't matter at all anyway. A one time check on installation and never again after that, as far as I'm concerned, might as well be drm-free. For me anyway.

A lot of DRM schemes have a limited number of installs. Period. You install this game five times and can never install it again. On anything. Even the same computer. Ever. Fuck you, consumer.
I assume this has an unlimited number of total installs, but you have five slots for simultaneous installs. You install, you use up a slot. You uninstall, you get a slot back. There's other games that use similar systems.

yeah, but let's say i get the GoG version, which is supposed to be DRM free. how would it know if i tried to install it on 35 different PCs?

forsight, also ebay.
Having to do the first choice is pretty inane and the second is likely to be quite costly and hardly any better.

All right, people. It is not a gerbil. It is not a hamster. It is not a guinea pig. It is a death rabbit. Death. Rabbit. Say it with me, now.
Kind of sad that these are actual feature points that you have to advertise now (looking at your stupid face, Crysis 2).
