So, for the past few months I've been really enjoying my digital download of BF: BC2. Recently, I've come across the curious bug that wipes all my stats and unlocks. It appears that this has happened 2-3 times, in each case it seems to correct itself for an unknown reason.
I play on my 360 and have none of the DLC.
My Google-fu seems to confirm that this has been a known issue for almost a year. Reports I have seen are almost always from over a year ago and I cannot find any reference to any actual fix (workaround or official) aside from players reporting that after awhile their stats come back. In fact, this is what has happened to me each time.
This is immensely frustrating as the game itself is really much less fun when you're forced to play at the most basic of levels, always. No defib for my medic. No mortar strike for my scout.
I suppose I'm wondering if anyone knows if this has ever been addressed? As I said, I see references to this going back a year, but really no mention of a fix. Is this the same server issue as reported then, or did my save file, perhaps, get corrupted.

Do you have it installed on your xbox? You might try deleting that and reinstalling or simply playing off the disc.
We should play sometime, I always see you on playing.
edit: or maybe just delete your save and level up again. It doesn't really take all that long to unlock all the stuff.
