You guys could come to Augusta this weekend.

    Because I'm here.

are you living there or just there for a bit

i'm not this week but i literally drive there almost every other day

I'm here on business through next Friday. TankHammer is takin' a look around to see what might be good for hangouts in the area. How well do you know Augusta? Do you know what is to be done around here?

Geek, after careful internet investigations of the city of Augusta I have decided that Augusta sucks ass. The best plan I could think of was to meander along the river walk for a bit if the weather's nice and takeiin a museum and grab a bite.

VisionofClarity is volunteering at the Atlanta Aquarium until noon on Saturday and if you'd like to visit Atlanta we could hit the aquarium ("largest in the world" they say) grab some bar-b-que and you can sleep on our couch. It's very comfortable! Just ask Usagi, ThatDaveFella or any of the other folks who stayed with us and didn't get the option to sleep on the air mattress.

Then we can do brunch and you can go back to Augusta rested.

Zoel, Stale, Sara Lynn and Aneurythmia are welcome to join us for any part of whatever we decide.

I looked into maybe meeting in the middle in Athens, GA but that's still 2 hours from Augusta so it's not worthwhile.

That sounds like a possibility. I'll have to review my cashola situation to see if I can swing the price of a ticket. I'll try to get back to you by tomorrow.

in terms of what there is to do in Augusta there is a hell of a lot but only if you really like golf.

other than that yeah basically nothing. It has a nice VA hospital, that's about it.
