I don't know what you're talking about aside from the fact that orange peel is traditionally used in the flavoring of white ales along with some spices. I suppose some places might serve a white with an orange slice but that's the establishments decision to offer the garnish and has nothing to do with the beer. Blue Moon does make a pretty good white and I've never had it with an orange slice.

The place I go to puts the slice in, I thought it was the accepted way to drink it, like a lime in Corona. But then again I've only been to the one bar.
It's really good with an orange slice in it, though, you should try it.

Guys, Deschutes brewery out of Oregon is fucking awesome. I typically hate beer and they have managed to make not just one but two beers which are excellent. Twilight Amber and Black Butte Porter. Twilight is fall seasonal, I believe, but Black Butte is year round and it is so good.
Oh and while we're talking about beer, hefeweisen is good stuff. Pyramid and Widmer both make good hefeweisens.
Also Dru it's pretty typical for persons/bars to put orange slices in Blue Moon, it's actually pretty weird that you have never seen/heard of that.

But instead, I mainly wear dickies button down work shirts and bowling shirts, and since bowling shirts usually cost around $100 in stores here, I just buy the exacts same ones online for like $40 after postage.
I just got this one in the mail a week or so ago. You can get any name embroidered over the pocket for an extra $5. Mine says "Dude"

Well it's probably because I've pretty much only had Blue Moon at home. Hoever, when I am out and they put citrus slices in my beer (for mexican beer or hefeweizen) I jsut take it out or will even specify to leave the fruit out. White ales already have the proper flavor without adding fruit to it.
