I thought the point that for some of these kids, it's not actually a "here's something to keep you entertained until you get better and you can leave" thing was...
Maaaaan, not fair, the title said 4th panel so I was all ready for some laughs (yeah I know that was last week, but I thought we got lucky) but noooooo! Now Im all blubbering to myself.

i thought the interviews with the dad were awesome and heartwrenching
but a lot of the scenes from the ep seem ripped straight out of last season's child's play episode
as in, i thought a couple of times throughout the episode that i had inadvertently clicked last season's episode by mistake
in the future I'd have rather them have spent more time with people like the dad and gotten more interviews with people directly affected by the benefits of child's play

Goddamn these episodes always makes me want to do more for Child's Play.
2010 was my first year attending the Child's Play auction, and it hopefully won't be my last. Had a great time and I was glad to be able to donate to such a worthy cause. This video, showing the Seattle Children's hospital and a couple of the kids there...definitely a tear jerker.
I spent small amounts of time in a children's hospital for respiratory problems as a kid, and things they had around like toys did make the experience less painful. I can't imagine how much it helps kids who spend significant amounts of time there.

It's the little things that make such a huge difference.
