I thought the point that for some of these kids, it's not actually a "here's something to keep you entertained until you get better and you can leave" thing was...

Well, it puts things in a different light.

    Yeah, that part hit hard.

I was sixteen, so it's not like I would have done much bidding.

But I still would have love to have seen it and been almost a part of it.

Having that dad talking is just not fair.

"He's young enough that he doesn't understand what's happening yet. He just sees it as summer camp...that he can't leave."

My heartstrings do not need this tugging!

    like

i thought the interviews with the dad were awesome and heartwrenching

but a lot of the scenes from the ep seem ripped straight out of last season's child's play episode

as in, i thought a couple of times throughout the episode that i had inadvertently clicked last season's episode by mistake

in the future I'd have rather them have spent more time with people like the dad and gotten more interviews with people directly affected by the benefits of child's play

2010 was my first year attending the Child's Play auction, and it hopefully won't be my last. Had a great time and I was glad to be able to donate to such a worthy cause. This video, showing the Seattle Children's hospital and a couple of the kids there...definitely a tear jerker.

Tough one to watch personally, one of my youngest cousins died to cancer recently at the ripe old age of 7, but well done guys.

Felt obligated to post, so I registered. This was seriously a moving episode of PATV. Tears welled up in my eyes more than once. Fantastic.

This ep proves we need more video games in random places.

    Middle East, anyone?

I spent small amounts of time in a children's hospital for respiratory problems as a kid, and things they had around like toys did make the experience less painful. I can't imagine how much it helps kids who spend significant amounts of time there.
