God I love reading Tycho's newsposts. The man is a goddamn wordsmith. Each paragraph is a start of a new adventure, many twists and turns occurring until you finally reach the light at the end, whereupon everything suddenly makes perfect sense.
They need to stop setting movies in modern day New York City.
Not everything has to happen in New York.
Go film in Prague or something, goddamn. New York is boring after the 30th time!
Its easier to film in NY than it is other places logistically due to the infrastructure already in place. Closing a street and not having it screw everything up, etc. makes it easier to sell. Its also iconic. Its also a big market, and as cheesy as it sounds, there's probably an executive or two that believes the notion that more people will see a movie set in NY or LA than someplace else.
I will see this movie at Midnight on it's opening day. I will be the first to arrive. I will elbow people in the throat if they try and cut ahead of me. All this for the simple fact that Neil Patrick Harris is in this film.
Subtlety
I'll be honest, I have no fucking clue how Sublety rogues work. I guess they like shadows and shit, and you sort of have to be a douche to play one if you look at the talents. I mean, they're all troll talents. Shadowstep? More like LOLITROLLU, amirite? So yeah, Subtlety rogues: sneaky douchebags with ridiculous talents and rage-inducing abilities.
Sounds like the perfect PvP tree.
if you see this movie for any reason other than you being a fourteen year old girl or you are looking after a fourteen year old girl there is something seriously wrong with you

There is 1 thing that would force me to watch it, and it's if NPH played the modern adaptation of candlebra
I think some of my friends are extras in Elizabethtown
I never saw that movie
but what the fuck would possess someone to make a movie take place in northern kentucky, and evidently have the setting be so key to the story that it's named after Elizabethtown

Especially when half the time it's being filmed in Vancouver.
Typical screen writing advice I've seen is "set your movie in New York or Los Angeles. Hollywood executives can't picture anywhere else, and will lose interest in your script."

perhaps comedy could be mined from this notion

Oh Neil...
I'll let you guys know how bad this film is but how great NPH always is
Also, the twilight approach of "What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy? (fyi I'm totally the hero)"
Edit: Wait no, I'm thinking of Red Riding Hood.

Clearly we're all gay. Gay for Gabe. I just hope he likes my Spider-Man costume the best.
Someone finally had the courage to say what we're all thinking.
... Right?

Although not nearly as weird as leaving work and finding myself in a Middle Eastern market complete with a camel.
Umm
are you sure Toronto was where Tron was filmed
Because I am almost positive it was filmed almost entirely in Vancouver
T(o)ron(to)
Yup, story checks out
Nope. Gay for Kurtz.
