Hey all ~
First: yes, I know there's a have / need pass thread. This isn't getting posted there, because that thread is specifically for face-value sales. I'm here to give two badges away for free.
Second: to almighty Khoo, thanks for giving this plan your blessing. I appreciate it.
Here's the deal. I'm one of the guys who decided to nerd-out an RV and drive it to the inaugural PAX East a year ago. This was an incredibly good time, and we decided to do it again for PAX Prime in Seattle. If there's one thing better than a thousand-mile total, video game-filled, PAX-centric road trip, it's one twice that long. Yes, Road2PAX Seattle was an amazing time.
Well, we've no intention of stopping at two. Our membership has changed slightly with each iteration, but the idea just gets refined. Case in point, R2P has Enforcers on board for the first time!
And this brings me to the point of my post: both myself and the other enforcer (B for Business) bought 3-day passes before we knew we'd be enforcing, and we don't need them anymore. Selling them just doesn't feel right - I know what PAX means to me, and I'd love to have the opportunity to give this experience to somebody. So, I've bought the badge of my fellow Enforcer, and am putting them both up, to give away.
If you want one / both of our badges:
* follow @ZarkingFroods on twitter within the next two days (cutoff: 8pm EST, Wednesday, March 2)
* Send me a PM with (Important) two pieces of information - whether you need one or both badges, and your twitter handle (from which you followed us)
What I'll do:
* at 8pm on Wednesday, I'll get a list of all my PM's, filter it for duplicates, and pick one at random
* if the PM I pick is only asking for one badge, I'll pick a second one-badge request at random
* once winners are chosen, I'll PM them and ask for a mailing address
* I'll mail the badges Thursday
A couple other things:
* Wheaton's law applies: don't be a dick. If you don't need both badges, don't ask for both
* I realize I'm not doing much to "secure" this contest. WL again: please don't enter more than once
* I'll pay for postage within the central 48 states, fast enough to get them to you well before PAX. If you need other accommodations, we can work something out

While we're happy to follow folks, to streamline the process let me change it slightly: follow us at @ZarkingFroods, and then PM me from your PA Forum Handle with your twitter username, so we can confirm the follow. I'll edit the original post to reflect this immediately. Thanks for the heads-up!
I also wanted to thank you all for your honesty. I expected more people to ask for both, but the majority are only asking for one. This means it's very likely I'll be able to fulfill two wishes, which makes me happy.
