in my final 2.5 years of hs i skipped a lot of fridays
in the last year it was probably like half of them, along with some random days in the week
the thing with fridays was my parents separated and i would go back to my old house after school for the weekend. but instead i got dropped off at school and walked over to the train station straight away
id take an extra shirt along and wear sneakers 'so i got clothes for the weekend' then change clothes so i wouldnt be in school uniform, and buy adult tickets instead of using my train pass or getting concessions
this paid off when some cops asked me for my ticket while on my way home, and couldnt do anything to me cos they couldnt know for sure if i was supposed to be in school
and usually my dad had left for work by the time i got home but one time he left late because he had just flown in the night before. luckily i got there when he was having a shower and not while he was sitting outside reading the paper or i would have been fucked
i still ended up sitting in dirt underneath a veranda for like 2 or 3 hours though
Woo, I feigned sickness well enough to stay home from school this morning.
Man, you're going to love it when you hit college and can just say "I don't feel like attending class today".
It wasn't an "I don't feel like it" thing, but more of a "Fuck fuck fuck I fell asleep at midnight and needed to stay up 'till at least three to finish all my work" thing.
