    Going solely off what the legendary pokemon look like, I'd definitely get Pokemon White.

    But then I'd need a WiFi router, and oh noes my monies.

    But if I preorder off amazon, I basically get $10 free. $25 for a new DS game isn't bad. Hell, Mario Kart DS is still that expensive, and that came out when I was in High School.

    I have never played Pokemon and have no desire to ever do so, but this strip was brilliantly funny. Gabe's face in the last panel is priceless. I can't wait for a 4th panel about this.

    I wish we had 4th panels for every single comic. They need to just put a webcam in the office so we can watch.

    Nah, B/W looks like they're going to be great.
    Get the newest ones.

    Also, Pearl isn't all that great. If you're gonna play the 4th Gen you'd be better off with Platinum.

    It really shocks me these games are still this popular. They have barely changed in over ten years and even back then they weren't a revelation. I just figured it was an easy hook for kids, but apparently it works on more than just kids...

    Pokemon games do change. They're just not drastic changes.

    Dragon Quest is the same way, and I love both franchises.

    Apparently there's some kind of high-level play with EVs or something? I remember seeing a book-length text file on the finer points of Pokemon breeding strategy.
