All San had to do was put down 2 stargates at some point when he had 2 - 3 mining bases and get voidrays, and with Sc's terrible storm-micro he wouldn't have to worry about them dying to marines or vikings...
except a marauder/medivac army is approximatley 100000x more mobile than a void ray army and all that would have happened is oh hey 8 stimmed marauder at each nexus whoops die immediately
Just a few void rays should be able to change these games, pure marauders are pretty resilient against storms, but they haven't been taught to shoot up... yet.
He could still have templars and stuff dhal, at least in earlier games san was floating some resources. It would have let him push planetaries at least, which is impossible otherwise. Always fun to see terrans denyiong expansions with small groups of 8 units while their own are unkillable with half an army :P.

over sanZenith? PvP is pretty volatile and I'm pretty sure sanZenith isn't retarded like HongUnPrime and knows that you can't use builds that die to 4gate in pvp.

San would have seen the build HongUn did on XNC too, which worked up until the point HongUn decided to give the game away at the end.

Why wouldn't he play the game exactly like he did except with a few VRs with his main army? There's no reason why he couldn't use warpins like he did in the game while still having a huge advantage any time Sc attacked with his entire army.

a few void rays might have worked
making 2 stargates to pump out void rays is not a few void rays. every void ray is a templar and 2 chargelots worht of resources.
Haha, sanZenith mined out the top, right and 1/3 of the bottom, and he still got beat by a terran who was only on 1-2 bases at any given time. And sc mostly only made marauders. lol.
There's some reasonable math out there supporting the idea that the game is designed around someone being on 3 mining bases at any one time in terms of effective production. So base disparity doesn't seem to be as big a factor in who's ahead as it would appear, especially with how cost effective Terran bio is supposed to be.
Right, but 3 or more bases against 2 or less bases is a pretty big disparity, and it's always funny when you see how well terran can do on so few bases against the other races.
But, again. He mined out those bases. And at the end of the game, he had run out of resources. That shows you how hilariously cost effect terran bio is, even when you micro horribly against storms.

Despite scfOu's horrible micro vs storms, pure marauder army, and usually being 1 base down on san (except the fourth game), there have been a half dozen times in every single game tonight where san would have just straight up lost if Khaydarin Amulet had already been removed.
I hope they see how retarded this change is. Yes, warping in templar that can do psi storm immediately is borderline too strong. But warping in templar at 50 energy is completely horrifically weak.
We can imagine once they remove khaydarin amulet they make bio a bit less cost effective.
As if. This is just hilarious. SC with 2 mining bases and spamming scans is pushing San back consistently. If SC actually knew how to expand it would have been over a long time ago.

Colossi are even less cost efficient than templars vs marauders. You need a fuckton of gas invested into sentries to keep this amount of marauders from just running up and killing every colossus you have in two seconds.
I can't even remember who else is playing after all that.

Summary of last game
Protoss expands aggressively, secures a base advantage over Terran, constantly uses warp prism and proxy pylon harass through the entire game, with the deciding moment in the game being a clutch moment of storming the Terran's last mineral line and attacking with a single DT while furiously microing a final battle that could have been his death if he lost it.
Terran builds marauders. 1 + t + a's everywhere. kills nexuses instantly. Occasionally gets a pretty good EMP off. At one point is down 20 scvs and 1 mining base to 50 probes and 2 mining bases.
Terran was terrible and even though he micro'd better than the previous games and actually had several points where good use of EMP won a battle I'll say he occasionally did well to down play his achievements for not playing the race I play.
8-)
edit: and for fairness' sake I'll admit I do the same thing any time it's a Z vs P/T

Terran nearly wins.
Is there more games or just interview?
Tastosis is the best fucking casting team. If you say otherwise I will be mildly upset.
I am honestly not sure why they went IT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. The decision flabbergasts me.
And I am saying this as a Terran.
edit: and for fairness' sake I'll admit I do the same thing any time it's a Z vs P/T
Let's say in the next patch Medivac healing is removed.
I'd imagine the amount of bitching from Terran would be about the same, really.
EDIT: Or rather, to make things more accurate, they start with 0 energy, and so need to wait some time to be actually useful.
I should have known that.
actually, for any terran wondering why protoss are so up in arms about khaydarin amulet, imagine that your medivacs did start with 0 energy
They also can't cast anything really useful with 50 energy. Feedback is a nice spell, but its very situational.
why didnt anyone else think of that yet
don't want to join in now cause spoilers
yeah its sitll going
San vs Sc took nearly 2.5 hours
These are some longass back and forth Bo5 matches. It's still going.
