Laptop Suggestions

I'm really hankering for a tablet, but the market doesn't seem there yet. Still, I need something with at least some portability, so it looks like my best bet is to buy a laptop now and wait for the tablet market to mature for a year or so.

Basically, I'd like the lightest, more portable-est laptop with long battery life that can play games aas or less demanding than Civ V. I don't actually go unplugged that often, but when I do it's usually on cross country flights to visit my family, so while day to day portability isn't a major issue, I like to be able to watch movies or play some light gaming on those long flights. Price is an issue, but I haven't decided exactly what level I can afford yet. I guess it all comes down to how perfectly a machine fits what I'm looking for.

So, after some more research, it seems the solution is to just wait for the Sandy Bridge laptops to start coming out. Hopefully even a lower end one will let me do some basic gaming on the go while maintaining battery life.

People seem to like the HP Envy, so maybe I'll give that a look when it gets refreshed. Now I just wish these SB machines would come out already.

I think I read somewhere that the B3 stepping fix will take more time to implement on laptops, so we may be in for a wait.
