the easy way would be digital it's all available on comixology... tpb's will get more interesting.
first there's a trade of the classic guardians who are a team from the far future.
modern guardians actually spun out of the Annihilation and Conquest events which have 3 and 2 trades that are out of print but findable. then there's 4 guardians of the galaxy trades in various states of out of print but still findable, like on amazon used copies or ebay. then it all sort of culminated in thanos imperative which is still in print.
in the middle both war of kings and realm of kings happened so if you want to see the bigger picture there's those trades. also at the same time as GoG, Nova was running and is in the same situation trade wise as it.
There was a pretty awesome arc years back that involved a huge battle between heaven and hell. I forget the exact issues, unfortunately. Endgame was really meh. I stopped reading after 214 due to financial and travel restraints, but everything between 201 (when the new creative team took over) and 214 was really fantastic.

Okay I have a gigantic comic collection that I'm trying to sell.
I seem to have a decent buyer surprisingly nearby that I'm currently talking to. What I don't have is any fucking clue what the collection is worth. I've gotten a bunch of auction prices on a few titles, and I know I have a large number of the early Marvel runs from about 1968 on that are worth significant money... but I have about 15,000 other comics that barely top $6 at auction. Plus like, Spawn and Youngblood. Is there an easy way of figuring this out that doesn't involve just looking up eBay prices, or asking the dude who's buying them from you what he thinks a reasonable price would be?
I mean I'm submitting to MyComicShop as well, but they just ask what your asking price is.
Edit: Oh duh there is the Overstreet guide... is it worth plopping down $30 on the downloadable edition?
Comic quesiton: Is Namor supposed to have nipples, or not? I see him drawn without them more than drawn with them. If not, is that a mutation thing, or an Atlantean thing?
What's a trustworthy online comic dealer? I'm looking for the 2011 runs of venom and the mighty thor but all the comic shops around me have the staggering issue problem (they'll have 1,4,7,8,9,12 etc) and i really like owning a hard copy over digital copy

i tried eBay and had some luck with it but found the same staggering issue problem as the comic shops, even when i searched a few of the eBay shops. i was able to pick up the whole Rokkin series for $16 on eBay. thanks for the info guys!

Okay, saw this listed on the Marvel Solicits (EDIT: for October) over at Bleeding Cool:
SPACEKNIGHTS #1 (OF 3)
Written by JIM STARLIN & CHRIS BATISTA
CHRIS BATISTA (A)
Cover by CHRIS BATISTA
• The planet Galador rebuilds its elite defense force, recruiting a new generation of Spaceknights!
• Can Balin and Tristan, sons of legendary Spaceknight Starshine, live up to the legend of their family name?
• Collecting SPACEKNIGHTS (2000) #1-2.
48 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99
My question ... is there going to be anything new in this, or is it just reprinting the 2000 mini-series? Even if it's just a reprint, I might go ahead and pick it up anyway as I think I missed two issues in there somewhere.
Batman/Superman question: Has Bruce ever met Ma and Pa Kent? Are there any comics (or episodes of JL-whatever) that have Bruce coming over to Smallville for dinner?
It doesn't seem impossible, and I'd love to see it if it exists.

I know of someone that would be interested but since he has sold his shop I really have no idea how to contact him now
I bought Rokkin for 8 dollars with shipping now the art was neat but I felt the story had parts of it chopped out
My brother and freind read it and both asked if this is/was a webcomic. I wonder if it would have been a longer run if it was a webcomic

I have this image on my photobucket account from one of the Justice League animated universe books, but I couldn't tell you which issue it's from.
Well it took some searching, but I tracked it down! The issue that's from is Justice League Unlimited #28.
The series is not available on Comixology and I don't think it's been collected, as I can only find three volumes of Justice League Unlimited in paperback.
D'aaawwwwww. Thanks, Centi - just what I was looking for. I can just imagine him eating pie in the cape and cowl too.

That's probably the best one, but I know there have been times Bruce and the Kents have met before. Like this one from Superman/Batman annual #2, Bruce visits Clark on the farm after he loses his powers early on in their careers:
even more interesting would be the idea that Alfred and the Kents probably talk to each other about their kids.
Can I just, you know, give my two cents on this whole "Anthony" thing I just discovered a few days ago?
Is there a decent explanation as to why tony's first instinct wasn't to go seek medical attention?
Now mind you, I haven't read Ultimate comics in a long, long time (USM way back when it started) so some of the newer twists I'm hearing of (involving Reed) just sound really dumb and make no sense

well ultimate iron man did get those tumors removed a couple times but they kept coming back (i think).
so lets say I've read the Gray/Palmiotti/Conner run on Power Girl (issues 1-12) and enjoyed it, and I wanted to read more fun Power Girl stories
how would I go about that?
JLA Classified #1-4 has the same creative team.
Never read it but someone else might be able to let you know if it's ever been collected anywhere.

It's JSA Classified #1-4, with Geoff Johns as the writer (Conner still draws).
You can travel back in time and check out JL Europe for other Power Girl stories, but Comixology doesn't have them up. They did put a bunch of the Giffen/DeMatteis JL run out in trade but I don't know if they continued it past volume 5.
If so the first couple of arcs are my two favourite Bendis Avengers arcs ever, proper big superhero action with Ultron and Kang and so on
there's a few complaints, like how Bendis doesn't really make the team work that well (some characters get no face time, others way too much, and the less powered parts of the group feel kind of superfluous), but overall it's good stuff.
"The Bendis run" comprises 8 years of comics across 4 different Avengers titles and 3 linewide event books, so a bit of specificity when asking about it is usually a good idea.
And I agree with Solar, the Bendis/Romita heroic age avengers stuff is good.

What are some good comic book blogs? Like, if I want to read thoughtful analysis, discussion, etc.

The first thing Tony did WAS seek medical attention. SO you know, they don't really need one.
The Reed thing was really awesome but I'd be interested to hear what you think made no sense.

Comic book artists just leave out the nipples a lot when they draw guys shirtless for some reason.

Looks like a few issues may be missing here and there but it's a start.
I've picked up full runs of many of my favorite titles, most of which were equal or less than cover price.
Lots of comic shops have an ebay presence, too.

As a Rom fan, this made me pretty happy to see.
"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic

But here's the whole page:
Also, the Kents having WW, GL, Flash, and Frosty the Superman ornaments is pretty funny.

also, the mindless ones
4thletter is pretty good too
also great
but it's not exclusively about comics, though neither is comicsalliance
but I do not begrudge comicsalliance their random articles about Jem or whatnot
although I do wish they would bring back The Week in Ink
