I got a dell xps running windows 7 with a 64 bit system and 4.00 GB.
I just purchased myself a sexy Radeon HD 6950... BUT I now I also need an audio card (mine is busted and my computer techy buddy said I need a new one).
But I got no idea what to buy in terms of audio cards, something cheap and "good enough" would be fine.

Then decide if you want to spend more for fancy features. Assuming you want something to hear sound in normal windows and games then this is plenty. If you have plans of using your computer as a sound studio or home theatre system then you might consider spending more.
