I really like the look of Wolverine's son's costume on the covers of the up coming Ultimate X-Men. Like an updated version of Wolverine's first costume.

His mini seemed alright but didn't massively endear me to him.
The new Power Man seems to be the silliest of geese, X-23 I know little about, don't like what I have seen and don't particularly care for, and similarly I don't really know or care about Spider-Girl. As I said, Amadeus is the only person on that team who I actually want to read about, so I won't be picking it up.
It looks like the recent Carnage mini-series was popular enough for a sequel. According to the announcement, Spidey's getting help from more Avengers as Carnage goes on a road-trip to tear a bloody hole right across America.
Most of my favorite books are rock steady (X-Factor, Thunderbolts). Heroes for Hire is holding up around 20k, and could be saved by some tie-ins. On the other hand, Herc only received 17k orders for the second issue, a steep drop from the 38k of issue one. Which is a bummer, as that book's been slowly improving, since it got off to what I'd describe as a rocky start.
Also, the Booster Gold Flashpoint tie-in increased sales by something like 5k, proving that there is no God.
Solar I still think you hating on Power Man when you didn't read the miniseries that is responsible for 50% of his character growth is very silly
Yeah but I didn't read it because I basically lost interest in the character and any growth he might be having when I read that Shadowlands mini. Essentially the hook for the new Power Man didn't just fail to hook me, it actively made me want to avoid him, to the point where I am not reading a book with Iron Fist in it.
Maybe I will check it out at some point, but honestly right now I have no desire to at all. One of the very few characters which actually evokes that response from me, to be honest.
but he spends most of the mini doing very stupid things which everyone calls him out on before finally realizing he should probably listen to Iron Fist's advice since he actually knows how to be a superhero.
Like you hate that he is an arrogant dick of a teenager when PM&IF is all about how that will never work out for him.
Yeah but I hate him so much that I don't even want to know about his character development
You underestimate the power of my hate for the new Power Man Blank
Seriously though like I said I might check it out at some point but I have no real desire to do so other than I want to see him get his head kicked in repeatedly. Preferably by Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

500 people stopped buying Detective Comics since last month, their mortgages better have been hanging on the additional $2.99 they saved to justify this action.

Ha! I knew there was something Zeb Wells was doing at the moment that I liked! I've really been enjoying the new Carnage mini. I have renewed confidence in The Avenging Spider-man.
Yeah, I don't think it's as good as The Incredible Hercules, but it's an interesting take on the street-level hero. And since Jay Faerber's apparently never going to make Urban Myths an ongoing comic, Herc's the next best thing.
I know I said I was bummed to see Kirkman and Capullo leave the book, since I really do enjoy reading it, but holy shit that's a great team. Casey can really do gritty, sweaty, carnal stuff, as well as stories with a more cosmic bent, and Nathan Fox is a tremendous artist. Plus, they've already worked together on Zodiac, so hopefully they have a good creative rapport. My only worry is that Fox won't be able to handle a monthly book, as his style's a bit detail-intensive.
She's leggy, though. That's nice since she's supposed to be 5'11".
But those motion lines around her arms are just ????
5' 11" and most of it is lovely, lovely leg.
Also yes I like that cover. It is bright and has exciting things happening on it. There's a bit of symbolism going on, which is good. OK so Iron Fist is flying, but Iron Fist is awesome and therefore I don't care.
Iron Fist, after his little trip to Ku'un Lun in IIM, can do a crazy amount of hardcore stuff. Flying is probably in there somewhere. In fact, it is, when he used that electromagnetic field to propel himself into that train filled with bombs.
Um...Wolverine is pretty clearly attacking the face AND has drawn blood. So he both hit and isn't attacking the hands.
And Danny is coming up behind the head, he hasn't done anything yet but I don't really see the problem here. A cover of everyone punching one thing in the head doesn't actually look good at all, from a compositional standpoint.

YES
Buying the first issue at the mininum.
Fred van Lente, and it's starting in Fear Itself The Home Front in August, though there might be a full book if it does well
So, it's a team up rather than a bunch of separate stories for each character?
Yes. They're working as a team to stop Sin's mecha army from destroying Hawaii.
that doesn't make any sense

I want to be intrested in that series from the cover
But it is hard
I like Amadeus Cho but don't really care for any other character in that line-up, some more proactively than others.

Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)

man
just stop
I get that the man is an icon
but his art has gotten really, really weird and his writing is even worse and man just let it go
The composition's weird, but the figures are mostly alright.
Tumblr Twitter
and then he announced that he is working on a Wolverine project after this
oh god what is Iron Fist doing
Where is she going?

Wolverine missed.
Specifically Wolverine missed a giant demon head that is taller than him (although everything is taller than him).
