If Liefeld actually delivers from that dedication, I probably would drop a lot of my naysaying about the guy. Say what you will about his art, he is stepping up big and if he can do this when all of the other guys he came up in the ranks with back in the day still can't pull off a single issue, and when so many of the big guys now can't either, then super good on him and I say welcome back to the industry full time.
And of course I don't believe he was actually inking and driving, unlike the BC forumers, who seem convinced.
See, I'd rather have his work than some of the really bad tracing and photo-reference stuff, and much more than some of the really, really bad CG or CG touch-up art.
And I'm also assuming that he's working twice as hard and twice as long, instead of just doing two half-assed jobs and working the same amount. And lastly, I'm also under the assumption that he's gotten better in the last decade, and that he's willing to learn from his mistakes and drop all the pouches and guns with guns on them. I thought the couple pieces of Hawk and Dove art so far look pretty good.

He's drawn really good stuff in the past to piss off his critics. I don't know if he likes it the way he does it or if he rushes so the writers can tall their stories on time, but he clearly refuses to draw realistically.
That book -- if I recall -- was started by Joe Mad. Joe Mad reached out to Joe Q and said, "I want to get back into comics. I've been doing my video game work, and that's been successful, but it's been a while since 'Ultimates 3' and I'd really like to do something with Spider-Man."
Hopefully his enthusiasm will translate to an on time art schedule for Avenging Spider-man. And my god, the more I read/hear about Daredevil the more I want this series to hurry up n' come out.
I just wanted to thank my Dad, who is inking over my pencils. I could not have accepted this gig without his help, so I am greatly indebted to him (as if I wasn't already). He went from 0 to 60 on this project, never having inked professionally before, to meeting and exceeding my exacting demands. My art is my life and I trust him with both!
That is awesome. And for someone who hasn't inked professionally, what I've seen is damn good.
I'm with Munch. I cannot wait for this book (I think with DD I'm eligible for a pull folder once again. Not that there's a huge demand for JIM or TBolts, which is a g-d travesty. However, I'm willing to preorder those three simply because it's good for their business since picking them up on a whim on Wednesday or trade-waiting hurts small books. Period.).
On an unrelated note, how's the list of news sources in the OP? Anything I should add, remove, or just insult its mother?

I'm going to get the first few at least in singles just because that's how the fucking direct market works. I hate playing their game, but what's the alternative? Same goes for why I get JIM (though I guess if 622 and 623 have second printings out today it's a good sign). TBolts is just ... It's TBolts.
That post pushed me over the edge and I finally hooked up a Twitter account. I've done some searching around for writers and artists and found Bendis', Millars, Fractions, Slotts etc. But are there any others you'd (anyone) really recommend following?
I don't follow that many people. Simone is a good, but I actually don't follow her since all the really stuff gets retweeted anyway. As far as comics goes I follow Jeff Parker, Declan Shalvey, Kurt Busiek, Tony Harris, Jamie McKelvie, Kieron Gillen, Grant Morrison, Colleen Coover, Charlie Huston, and Brian Clevinger (and his Dr. Dinosaur alt). I also follow a couple CA guys (Sims and Uzumeri).
I'd just recommend whoever's work you enjoy. They'll probably turn you onto something else over time. I wouldn't follow Millar or Bendis if you paid me, but if you look at who I follow it's generally people who amuse me (well, almost all. I need to unfollow one dude) or pay me. It's especially important since Tweetdeck integrates my Facebook and Twitter feeds, and ... OH MY GOD WHY AM I ON FACEBOOK!?! I think I would go insane if I didn't have half of Uproxx to balance out my depressing-as-fuck FB "friends."
@WarrenEllis(before he went on his "i'm writing a novel" hibernation which should be up in a few weeks) was always one of my favorite Twitter feeds, but that's only because I eat up everything he writes.
A lot of webcomic guys like @rstevens & @ryanqnorth have hilarious Twitter feeds.
Then there are just important dudes that sometimes put important stuff like @MarkWaid or @GeoffJohns0
Twitter is definitely a viable way to keep up with comics news, especially since creators often break news on it. It's weird, I read the Twitter feeds of some creators more than their actual comics.
Man, that's rough, especially with Gene Colan's personal life being messed up the last few years (that was not his fault at all). I expect/hope for a big in memoriam page in Daredevil #1.
The other bonus of being on Twitter is when a barrage of hashtag-themed jokes break out, and nerds can be pretty funny. Take for example the #nerdthrillers and #nerdnoir hashtags being used to shotgun puns right now, e.g. @Doctor_Teeth's "NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MAN LOGAN #NerdThrillers"

Tom Brevoort now totally thinks 20 pages for $3 is a good idea. Months ago it was stealing food from creators mouths to lose two pages a month, now it's just fine because it helps with scheduling. He does say that there may be more 21 page $4 books too, hooray!

$4 for 2-3 issues per collection, good value.
I was fine til he started on all the good he achieved when he was a member of congress.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
Dear god. WTF? That story was garbage filled with garbage. Like some sort of Garbage-filled garbage sandwich.
