"So wait, are we really seeing one guy say another guy gets no credit for sales boosts, but he should get credit for smaller (and in some cases nonexistent) sales boosts? Because if you're writing Batman and sales go up, that's on Batman even though he was Batman the month before? Math has changed since I went to school."
So Snyder tries to settle this privately and Liefeld posts the conversation?
Classy
Also isn't the guy a millionaire?

Used to be. Not sure whether he's still rich. He might be wealthier than average creators but he isn't getting fat cheques from the companies anymore. Nor is anybody else.
So apparently Rob Liefeld tried to use Swamp Thing and Haunt as proof that Snyder and Capullo don't sell well
but
Swamp Thing has been selling far better than anyone really expected a Swamp Thing book to sell, and Haunt is a creator-owned Image book and does pretty dang well for itself on that metric
Does Leifeld still own part of Image? I remember the other owners basically kicking him out after the whole Maximum/Awesome Comics debacle and making him step down as CEO, but I don't know if he retained a share of the company.
In spite of Liefeld taking things way too far, he certainly has a point when tons of other creators are leaving books or DC as a whole for similar reasons. And I don't think dudes at the top of the totem like Snyder have a lot of room to talk, when DC has consistently demonstrated that they'll bend over backwards for their triple-A creators while fucking around with the smaller books and lower-tier writers until the talent is driven away.
The editor Liefeld called out is the dude from Stuff of Legend. This is a case where I don't understand why they don't just let the editor write one of the books himself. Looking at the other books he's edited, he was also an editor for the early Ultimate Universe titles at marvel. Meanwhile, for DC, he's done the Liefeld books (since Liefeld took over), Batgirl (since launch), and the second arc of JLI that felt like it had been almost entirely written by editorial.
Also, Frank Tieri has been writing Grifter, so it does mean a little to me to see him stand behind the editor.
Still, Winnick is leaving DC, John Rozzum was chased off of Static, Keith Giffen is bounced from book to book to book as a fill-in writer to the point where he's handling stuff outside of the DCU now, Gail Simone and EVS both left firestorm due to editorial meddling, poor Dan Jurgens is everywhere, and a number of rising talents were squandered to the point where they've either gone over to Marvel (Nate Edmondson), or will probably leave the DCU once their current assignments end (I'm thinking this about Fialkov and Cornell). And of course, Grant Morrison is finally trying to step away from the DCU, which makes me wonder if the timing really has more to do with what's happening internally right now.
Remember when the DC Reboot seemed exciting because they were putting a lot of indie creators on interesting titles? That's pretty much gone now. It makes me wonder how Layman and the Team 7 writer will fare.
I struggled with it, and Tom and I discussed several possibilities of me staying, some of which I can’t really discuss openly, because they concern internal workings of the company.
A bit more subdued than Liefeld yeah? Still makes me wonder what happened there and if it was anything like his whole Catwoman issues with DC.
I really don't see how that implies he had issues with Marvel internally aside from the fact that Rich Johnston wants it to mean that so people will click on his website
and bru doesn't wanna piss off the current writers of x
Right, it sounds like Brubaker was leaving on his terms and Marvel just wanted to make sure they couldn't make him stay. Pretty standard stuff I'd guess.
For 40 years Karl Kesel has been collecting comic books. Now, the well-known DC and Marvel Comics writer/inker, is selling everything to embrace the next chapter in his life -- fatherhood.
Kesel is selling his collection in order to pay for the fees and medical bills that came along with the adoption of a 15-week-old baby who was born addicted to heroin.
Isaac, the baby adopted by Karl and his wife Myrna, spent the first five weeks of his life in withdrawal from heroin and methadone. His medical bills total $67,000, in addition to the $25,000 cost of the adoption itself. The couple isn't sure how much of his staggering medical costs will be covered by Myrna's insurance.
The couple spent the first three weeks of the baby's life by his side at Portland Providence Medical Center -- Isaac was suffering from painful withdrawal symptoms.
"We pretty much held Isaac all the time," Myrna says. "What calmed him the most was to be held."
But to defray costs, Karl has to sell the comics he's collected since he was a child. "It’s so touching to me that he’s willing to sacrifice something he loves so much to help us have a family,” Myrna says.
"Why not start a fundraising campaign to buy as many of his comics as we could so we could give them right back to him? I have no lofty expectations for this endeavor, but I thought even purchasing one comic would send the right message that there are people out there that are grateful that people like Karl and his wife Myrna exist to make this world a better place," he wrote.
OK, so, uh, I assume all of the shitty things this guy was claiming various comic writers said in his tweets documented on the Bleeding Cool page are not really things they said?
I mean, this dude is clearly a scumbag but I really hope Waid, Simone etc would would not be so tacky and disgusting. Just clarifying here.

Stalking? These are just my own observations and opinions. You fucking idiot. Good luck enforcing that whole internet stalking thing. My opinions and comments are sane compared to the loons like you who post things like “if you like batgirl you’re an ableist!! boo hoo!!!” I just wish I could hear the police laughing their asses off. Back soon ladies!
On and on and on and on and on. IP address after IP address after email after email.
And banning after banning after banning after banning. And he kept up with more the posts under NEW names and disgusting comments. I can’t even bear to look at some of them.

Wow, when I saw the initial thing about trying to get him on stalking I thought it wasn't anything but creators trying to be tough with threats.
But that DCWomen stuff alone should be grounds for the guy. 20 months of stuff (that is documented), that's going to be pretty damning. I don't see how there can't be a case when it's clear that it's the same guy saying "it's me again" over and over.
Have cyberstalking laws ever been used successfully against a random internet troll before? Part of me wants to automatically defend this guy's 1st Amendment rights and free speech yadda yadda yadda, but he's such a douche that it's really hard to do.

You seriously want to defend this guy?

If you have and still think this fuck you man you are a goose.

Rob: "You are fucking crazy."
That's quite a leap, Rob. Are you sure this is supposed to make you look good?

Eh Wade strikes me as being open to any kind of physical affection. He's a lonely guy at his core.
Peter David Shatterstar is pretty great, though.

Here's a rundown of what he's done there:
