so it got pushed aside because of the minion change post but does anyone know why I would be accused of being a smurf on a 3v3 game as Kat where I did alright, not great, not terrible that we won? Apparently in the post game chat after I left the screen they said "yeah right, a lv 10 with 19 wins." The hell does that even mean?

Take it as a compliment It means that they were pissed off enough at you and you performed well enough that they figured you had to have hundreds of games worth of experience with the game.
Alternatively they are trying to lessen the sting of their loss but attributing it to something outside their control.

It means people are super jelly of your mad skillz.
Who cares, people say things all the damn time in this game that have no bearing on the reality of it.
As someone already said, just really need a test server. I'm amazed their doing well right now, they're run so damn unprofessionally.
They do have a test server, the problem is they limit the people who can utilize it which doesn't give them enough of a sample size to really get any meaningful data. They need to open it up to whoever wants to test on it and they'll get much better results.

It means they were raging. People rage in this game. It is a thing that happens.
One time there was a tryndamere who talked shit through the entire game. When our tank built a thornmail he lost his shit about it. So we all built thornmails. Even though it was a bunch of random people we all collectively decided "Hey. Fuck this guy."
So he raged about us being premade and how we somehow cheated our way into solo queue.
Some people are just weird and they come up with weird reasons to justify their rage.

People try to hate on me because they see me engaged in rotational activity
but they just filled with animosity i pay them no heed yo
lemme know when this change goes live, not gonna play til then because the game is not fun
I haven't played much while this change has been active so I have no idea, but what is so not fun about it? All i've noticed is turrets go down faster. To be honest I've kind of enjoyed it.
In short it is a change to the game that forces people to alter how they played before and puts more emphasis on individual fights and laning in comparison to teamfights.
Basically enough people QQ'd and riot is changing it again instead of people embracing the change and giving it a shot.
Change is bad blah blah blah. :v:
this post is so sycophantically terrible I have the taste of poop in my mouth right now
Yeah I think I was just more confused by them calling out my lv versus my wins. I was trying to figure out if 19 wins at lv 10 was really low or high and I was just confusing myself.
Maybe they just got tired of me Killer instincts/Shunpo/ult murdering them all at once with the slow from rylai's so they assumed I was the one who knew what I was doing and took it out on me

Fuck that guy. Also, I'm going on break this week, so I might be back to carry you people sometime soon.
Edit: Wasn't that the Master Yi? I might be mixing up douchebag encounters.

Were you in that game? I can't remember since it's been almost an eon since you played with us.
I think the change was too much of a dramatic sway. Personally, I don't mind the changes that were pushed out, but not everyone is adapting well to it (e: some are also taking advantage of it effectively) and it is affecting gameplay negatively.
I don't see why Riot has to change things in large bursts, especially when they are just fucking guessing on the outcome. Lack of extensive testing, empirically or otherwise, really hurts their reputation every time they do something like this.
So this.
I can't recall how many times I said this about Blizzard back when I played World of Warcraft, but at least they had a test server that people could actually play and test things on. Even then however, there were so many times where I was like, "Okay I can see nerfing that... but why the hell wouldn't you just ease the numbers back a bit rather than chopping them in fucking half?"
Same thing with Riot, only it's worse because they can't even properly test this shit. I like that they made minions more important in the games, but why not step up the changes gradually until things seem about right? Yes people are still going to complain, but there's a far, far lesser chance of actually ruining the game for 2 whole weeks until the next patch if you, y'know, do things gradually.
I've never run into a Master Yi who wasn't a douche.
Why is that?
I would lime this, but I think I've used my allotment for the day. Somehow Master Yi players are always douchebags.
I've even been playing Master Yi, and had a Master Yi on the enemy team who went out of his way to be a douchebag, calling me a noob and generally insulting me in /all because I had to retreat in a 1v1 fight we were having when he had 3 minions also hitting me.
It was so satisfying every time I killed him later in the game though. :P
I really don't think the changes are as drastic as people make them seem, push teams always pushed and yi always backdoored, nothing new here.
They aren't Melodrama is just fun.
What were the exact changes? Minions take less damage, cannon minions more frequent after 20 and more damage?
Minions:
Melee minion magic resist now increases 1.25 per 3 minutes (up from 0.5)
Ranged minion armor now increases 1.25 per 3 minutes (up from 0.5)
Cannon minion armor and magic resist now increase 3 per 3 minutes (up from 2)
After 20 minutes, cannon minions now spawn every 2 waves (up from every 3 waves)
Cannon minions and super minions now reduce turret damage by 65% (up from 50%)
Fixed a tooltip bug "This unit receive..." with cannon minions and super minions
Minions now deal about 50% more damage to turrets
I'd say the changes were quite significant and game-altering, though I don't think they quite hit the level of game-breaking. At least, I don't feel like the game has become un-fun and worth quitting over until changes are reverted.
For me, the fact that they make these huge sweeping changes at all without proper testing is what induces rage. There's just no reason for such massive increases to take place at one time, especially when Riot doesn't actually know what effect it's going to have on the game.
The changes to IP gain are another very recent example.

i'm sure if you bought them the necessary hardware and paid for the necessary bandwidth, that they'd be more than happy to open up the test realm to more people.
If hardware and bandwidth are preventing them from properly testing this shit, then perhaps they could, oh I don't know, make changes less fucking dramatic so it doesn't become a disaster on the live servers.
If a change doesn't seem to be enough, Riot could gradually ramp it up a bit more until it seems to be having the effect on the game they want.
That seems reasonable to me, but I guess I might just be crazy.
I've never run into a Master Yi who wasn't a douche.
Why is that?
Master Yi is the training wheels champ for LOL douchebags. Many of those players eventually graduate to playing Shaco.
Well damn I've been wanting to play both of those characters because of how I perceive their look and attitude... Guess I've learned something about myself.
clearly the minion change was made to make people disinterested in the game due to the fact that it's not fun, thus lessening server load and letting Riot actually turn on co-op vs ai

I thought it was the same guy who told us after game to talk to him once we had 1000 wins. I remember doing this once when we duo-queued, and the guy just got bent thinking we had cheated the system and queued as a five-man because we coordinated just slightly.

It's because you're always ridin' dirty.
It was FAR too drastic for one patch in a game like this

Any tips on him? skill build, items, ways to avoid being exploded?
That's the biggest thing I've noticed. And it can be a huge pain in the ass.
