Once again, Slash, if need be, I would give you five dollars. Silver Spoons.
By the by, does anyone think the Balls O Steel edition is worth the extra forty bucks? I've been having this internal struggle... DNF has been delayed so many times, it just seems like a good move, but conversely, it's been delayed so many goddamn times, it may be a waste for a mere mini-bust, two poker chips I'd never use, a deck of miniature cards which I'd also never use, two Duke-Dice which I'd totally use, and the making-of-DNF booklet essentially, which is mostly what I'd get that fucker for, and what else... DNF papercraft?
I'm obviously really conflicted... I got a 50 buck bonus for two years of loyal service at my job today, and I wonder if I should just put it all on Duke. But conversely, June is gonna be a bitch of a month in vidjagames already, and maybe this fifty-dollar-bill could be put to better use. URRGGHH!

I'd say the extra money would be better off invested in another game rather than the BoS edition. You waited for Duke Nukem Forever, not Duke Nukem Forever and some memorabilia. Games like Child of Eden, Red Faction Armageddon and inFamous 2 are probably going to give you more enjoyment than the extras you describe.

Eh, if a Collector's Edition doesn't come with a Steelbook then I usually pass on it.
I mean sure a bust of Duke Nukem sounds fucking awesome but when you get home and see that it's less than 5 inches tell and weighs 2 ounces AKA chintzy.
The Halo: Reach bust on the other hand was cash and from what I've seen the Gears of War 3 ones looks great too.
I wait for the unboxing video before I even begin to consider dropping a c-note on Duke.
Anyway, I must reiterate that the Gamestop I have a preorder at is still in business. It's been in business since it was called "Software Etc." after all these years. What some of you maybe remembering me say about it is that I left the city it was in (Houston) and moved to Austin. I moved back to Houston about 4 years ago, though, so it's well within a short drive.
I definitely plan on going there to redeem my preorder..... soon... soooooon!

They are going to have to pull out the punch cards to look up your pre-order in the computer.

You should get someone to film this and put it online. We need video of the man who bet on Duke getting the payout he deserves.

I hope the free addon is more shirts!
Anyway, pre-ordered the Balls of Steel edition. The PC version was only 20 bucks more expensive than the regular version so I figured why the hell not.

The comic about DNF and Horse Cocks, (only on penny-arcade does that make sense), made me think of a horrifying realization. The Toxx Clause on SA is potentially horrifying and thinking about the history of this game on this board. Several forum members should thank their deitys theres no PA version of the Toxx clause. I'm fairly certain scores of forumers have said they would eat their cock if DNF ever came out.
Notice the map at 1:01. It seems to be part of the multilayer.
Doesn't it remind you of Duke 3D's firts level?
I believe they have said in one of the multiplayer reveal articles somewhere that they were remaking Hollywood Holocaust. Not sure which one it was though.

You know what? I'm an idiot. I've had that First Access Club number sitting in my Steam list for months, and I never freakin' registered it.
I just did it now. I wonder if I'll still get the schwag.
That trailer was terrible, why the fuck have they not used the classic theme yet? Rap does not meld with Duke, it's awkward.
The Duke3D theme song belongs to the band Megadeath. Gearbox doesn't have the rights to use it.
I'm 100% positive this is entirely untrue.
Megadeth did release a version of the song for the 1998 "Duke Nukem: Music to Score By" but it was just a cover of the original song that was composed by 3D Realms' employee Lee Jackson.
Grabbag has elicited many spin-offs and remixes over the years by both fans and professional musicians, including an officially sanctioned studio version by the popular thrash metal outfit Megadeth.
Plus, if Gearbox couldn't use it, why would they have publicly said they're saving the song reveal or why is a version of the song available on the website?

KAH makes some extremely good points
On the other hand? Bust of Duke
There's really no question here, G0D :P

But really, he's bitching about Gearbox being late with a demo? HE is bitching about SOMEONE ELSE being late?
There's no fucking way in hell he's serious. I refuse to believe it.
Maybe he was preoccupied with eating his own cock?

Um. No.
They even have a brand new version on the DNF website.
Stop making things up.
