Learning to cook for people with broad dietary restrictions...
So I'm going to be cooking for someone that is a celiac vegan (hopefully more than once) and I'm not entirely sure what to do. Can anyone recommend a good place to find recipes or share some that they have? Thanks so much!
and I wonder about my neighbors even though I don't have them
but they're listening to every word I say

OK, I know this is really obvious, but read labels thoroughly. For example, some quorn has wheat in it (sausages, fillets) and some doesn't. I nearly stuffed up and gave my wheat intolerant sprogs the wrong one! Milk gets added to shed-loads of stuff, as well.

Is this a new significant other? I broke up with a celiac vegan rather than put up with it.
Cheap, Healthy, Good is a favorite cooking site of mine, and they've got a selection of posts/recipes related to vegan stuff here. You'll still have to be on watch for wheat, but hopefully there's something good there.

This is also awesome. Bookmarked! You guys are the best BTW.
What is a celiac vegan? Is it a vegan who also can't eat gluten?

I kid, I was looking into this and there are a couple of sites geared to this. One interesting recipe was for gluten free bread(?): it used tapioca flour and rice flour.
I'd think a lot of south indian vegetarian recipes could be adapted, like dosa, iddli, vada; principle hurdles would be finding subs for milk/cheese products.

Actually, googling "celiac vegan recipes" turned up a pretty good crop of results. Start there.
