Salutations Barrovians! After a lengthy leave of absence Sangred is back, with axe, shield, beard and most importantly the head-protecting mohawk all polished and ready for battle! Picked up the Rohan expansion this morning. Unfortunately I work tonight, but I'll probably be logging in this friday.
You guys know about truck nutz, right? Well imagine this: A similar accessory for your war steed, available in the LOTRO store.
Eh?
Ehhhhh?
Brilliant, right?
Now all we need are air freshners to hang around its neck, and maybe some ass stickers with clever slogans or sayings. For that matter, maybe a couple of strapped on minstrels for a stereo system.

Not just plain old horseballs, though. I'm talking super-exaggerated, giant goddamn manberries hanging off the ass end of your steed. Possibly dragging on the ground.
One interesting thing about the end Rohan Hytbold town. Apparently, if you fully upgrade the town, the barter vendors for all the other classes show up. And you can barter for the sets there for your alts as everything is bound to account.

This is true - if you are willing to put in all 44 days worth of dailies on one of your characters, everything unlocks.
This was a GOOD DECISION.

Let's play Mario Kart or something...

And FYI, if all you are interested in is a specific set or set piece, look up the guide as the time to get stuff is significantly shorter. Each piece is locked behind a specific rep level and upgrade to the town.

What do you call a dog with steel balls and no hind legs?

Glornt where have you been! I haven't seen you on lately. The gettin's good, mang. We've had a surge in kin activity (meaning like 5 dudes have been on at a time) and we need you!

I don't know why but I have no urge to play a champion, guardian or warden. Maybe I don't like the 'n' at the end or something.
Minstrel and Runekeeper are the next on my list to level after Lore Master and Hunter.
My minnies name is going to be Evanhalen.
Mine is Edvard

Been busy working on my music, actually finished and posted a couple of new short pieces within the last week or so. I've been keeping my LOTRO client up to date, though, in the expectation of having some playing time soon -- and I have a FIVE DAY WEEKEND coming up for Thanksgiving, which is almost as nice as that sixth bag!
I got my war steed and my enthusiasm went down a little bit. Give me a couple days of Planetside 2 to reenergize and I'll be back.
I know people are liking it and all but in the end I like how my captain plays and to be playing a wholly different game pains me. I'm not rage quitting here just letting my feelings on it be known.
Mostly just huntin' monsters.

I understand; I got a Warsteed on my Burg too, and it is a lot less fun than my champ.
I just don't feel like a burglar at all on the warsteed. It may also be that I am trying out a medium mount instead of light as well.
Edit: It's also really odd that the light mount has an awesome heal for morale and power for you and your mount, and it has an additional good power restore. Plus light has tons of skill cool downs. Medium has just got a mediocre power heal and more bleeds. I'm not sure heavy has anything interesting at all beyond some tanking stuff.
Seems really odd to do this as all it makes me want is to use the light steed as it seems to have the best overall power set.
As another note, I got my Scholar and Jeweler up to Grand Master Guild rep, so I can make 85 stuff. Though keep in mind it's gated behind the week long cooldown (and I've just made something for my champ).
That said, there are some nice teal 80 jewelry pieces that are easy to make. Earrings in particular I thought were quite good.

If I say that playing a hunter on a warsteed makes you feel like a universal boss, will any of you roll hunters because of it?
Seeing those sales, how's the landroval population these days? Also can you solo up through Rohan? I quit right before Moria ages ago but lotro always had a soft spot in my heart.

So I took my daughter to the kin house...I told her she should click on the keg.
She must have saw the evil glint in my eyes cause she said "No way!"
Damnit!
Z's back too. . .
Edit: Blow the dust off of Kend. You know you want to. We could use an LM for a run. maybe get a 6-man going.

I am indeed back, though fair warning, my dorfs may or may not be shirtless.
Good thing that in extream situations I have an eye patch for the other eye and the beard can act like a cat's whiskers for unimpeded travel.

That's why I made my superior dorf hunter. Also to eventually have a 2nd jewelcrafter.
Do hunters have an aoe stance for mounted combat?
Question: if you grab the Legendary version of Riders of Rohan, do you still get the 6th bag even if you haven't bought the 4th or 5th one yet?
I don't think so. Then again I've only ever used Red Dawn or whatever
This is excellent news. Excellent indeed.
