My original plan was to leave my hotel an hour before 10am. I'd grab some bread on the way then walk 30 mins to BCEC and wait there till 10am.
But after reading some threads, ppl are saying they're going to be at BCEC like 6am in the morning. What? THAT EARLY? For what? There is a building that will let people in but that's just for pure waiting purpose. Do I need to leave my hotel at 6am or earlier to attend 10am panel?
Just in case if you guys want to know what panel I'm trying to get in:
State of the Industry: What Are Your Career Options? at IGDA Dev Center 10:00 am - 10:50 am
When should I leave my hotel? It takes about 30 mins to walk to BCEC. If I can get cab, it'd take less than 10 mins (does any one know how much it would cost for me?) Bus will take 25 mins. (I need to walk to bus stop)
p.s. I think I'll end up attending to panels after panels for Friday. There are just too many good shows to see!!!

generally, people getting in line super early are looking to get into the keynote. if you're not going there, i wouldn't worry too much about making your panel, but arriving at the center at 9:30 may be cutting it a little close. i'd say arriving by 9am would be preferable.
