I'm a bad student, and am last minuting a quarter project - a business report on Google. I've got lots done, but as part of the report I need to conduct interviews with Google employees or contractors. I had some plans for this, but they fell through so far and here I am.
You can be kept anonymous if you please, and opt out of any question(s) you don't want to answer... but I think it's pretty easy stuff about company culture and working for Google in general.
Help me, GoogleWan Kenobi, you're my only hope.
Here is the question set I've sent out and not heard back from on one of my leads.
1) What sort of work did you with/at Google?
2) Google is huge. Everyone knows about the tech products Google produces, and the sales aspect, but it seems like in a company that size they would have a wide array of consultants and types of positions. Did you run into employees who were not tech/sales? If so, what were their fields?
3) Google company culture - what was it like generally?
4) Google has this really friendly image and "don't be evil" credo - did you see an examples of this in practice?
5) Any comments on types of people who would or would not be a good fit to work at Google?
6) Any other general input, insight, stories etc?
