Morrowind modifications.

So I just re-bought Morrowind for the PC. This time around, I'm more familiar with the fact that there are some mods released which greatly enhance play experience.

What are some of these must have mods? I've Googled to no avail, seeing as none of the mods are guaranteed to be quality.

Any help would be nice.

Register at tessource.net. You can search mods by rating, number of downloads, date uploaded, all that fun shit.

Grab a hi-res texture replacement mod and maybe throw in the extended draw distance mod and the game will look like it's only about a year or two old.

    Combat Enhanced
I actually haven't used it yet, but I had it conveniently bookmarked for the next inevitable install.

You got any particular mods in mind? Ones you know are good?

And the TESSsource link is really good, thanks for that one.

I think Better Bodies is the good character texture pack. It comes in several varieties, depending on how much of a prude you are. Not sure on the detended draw distance though.

    - 30 different combat combos performed using simple combinations of the basic attacks(i.e. Slash, Slash, Thrust). There are 5 combos for each of the 6 weapon types(Long Blade, Short Blade, Blunt Weapon, Axe, Spear, and Unarmed). The combos range from stat drains to knockdowns to decapitations.

I see a distinct lack of Humiliations, Babiality and Besteality moves D:

When I tried to use Combat Enhanced, admittedly like 2+ years ago, made Morrowind crash even more than regular.

Which is to say: all the time instead of sometimes.

I recommend the Less Generic NPC mods. They give all the pointless NPC drones in little villages some unique dialogue, and even throw in a few simple quests.

Also, the vGreetings mods are pretty nifty. They enable a lot of spoken text that came with the game but for some reason never got implemented. It does a good job of breaking up the repetitive greetings that all the NPC's say over and over again when they see you.
