What side is Ermac on? I love that telekinetic palette swapping bastard.
Ermac is pretty much a sick experiment from Shao Kahn to create a warrior from all the souls he's consumed. He's a weird, evil son of a bitch.
That said, plot spoilers:
The way Ermac fucks up Jax, which in this version is the reason he has metal arms (in the original timeline, he augmented his arms on his own, after MK2, during the formation of the outworld investigation agency, to prepare for a possible outworld invasion) is probably the most evil thing in the entire story.
Speaking of dramatic shifts, I can't believe Sub-Zero is now a cyborg. He was one of the most iconic heroes in the series, and later on in the series he pretty much becomes THE good guy.
This MK game took out the two biggest heroes in the series - Lui Kang and Sub Zero.
Kindof underwhelming there. He seemed to go down kinda easy too. As do the boss characters from what I've seen so far. I was hoping bosses and hidden fighters would be beasts like the good ol' days.
I am pretty sure nothing. Stop getting your hopes up, people. Seriously. And who cares? Kratos and an extra stage is nothing special. If you are worried about an exclusive character, go play Soul Calibur 3.

The fatality is just up, up. Block isn't a part of it. You're required to stay on the ground when you input the command, but it's possible to do it without holding block. This is important, because in order to fight reptile, you need to win without holding block. The easiest way to do it without holding block, is to throw a standing high punch, and during the punch animation, press up,up.

The only part that really annoys me about the exclusive situation (aside from NRS falsely leading on the 360 users into believing they were getting anything, instead of flat out saying they weren't months ago like they should have) is that...
Kratos Stage has three different stage fatalities. Not counting deathtraps from the 3D era, I think that's the first time a stage has ever had multiple stage fatalities.
Fuuuuuuuck the next two days are gonna suck. I feel like it's Mortal Monday all over again and I'm 13 years old, staring at the clock in class and suffering.

I really don't care about Kratos. It's not that I hate God of War, I just have no interest in playing as him when I would rather play as an MK kharacter.

Watching that stream last night watching online randoms win King of the Hill and repeatedly fail at obvious attempts at Fatalities makes me shake my head. They aren't THAT hard to do. Either figure out how to do it or do a special move to finish the match already.

well I can't imagine people have had a lot of sit down time to practice the fatalities yet. plus you have to learn the right distances for them moreso than the inputs
and some of them might be trickier than others, like at pax I could do cage's fine but I couldn't figure out what the input on noob saibot's meant to save my life without going into the training mode

I think the spacing for Fatalities is VERY lenient. There are times when I was Reptile (@PAX) and playing as Mileena (PS3 Demo) that I figured I wouldn't be able to pull off the Fatality and it goes off fine.

got this paid off! i'm actually pretty pumped for this because i get my own copy for online play on 360, and then one of my work friends is getting the PS3 version. i was hoping to try out kratos so this is a win-win for me!
