I was good yesterday but this morning Post-Nasal drip. I'm willing to bet a lot of our sickness was due to being over-tired and DST royally screwing us all.
I think I may have a little funk. I started feeling especially run down on Sunday. Partly due to tiredness, but I think the overtiredness made me more susceptible to who knows what from who knows who. This time around I interacted with many more people. I washed my hands frequently, drank lots of water, didn't join Sumo puppy piles. Still, maybe caught something minour.

I've been popping pills left and right. Had to miss work yesterday, but that was due to straight up fatigue. I couldn't afford to miss more, even though I've got cold/flu symptoms. Runny, stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, general out-of-it-ness. The usual, really. If I hadn't been wearing annoying to put on gloves, I would have been washing my hands a lot more often.
I only have some exhaustion and a slight case of the post-PAX blues.
I really lucked out, though...usually, when I let myself get this run down, I get a nasty cold. *knocks on wood* I'm taking all sorts of precautions to prevent this now, especially since my husband seems to have the pox.
Whhooooo!! No sickness here. I didn't do any special Purell-ing/handwashing (post bathroom use was it) and I shook hands, hugged people, handled cookies and monies for Cookie Brigade, played demos, etc. Lucky me!!
No Pox yet. just post-PAX blues and general exhaustion. Getting back home at 2:30am Tues morn only to get up for work by 7am prob just added to it. oye.
No Pox for me either. I felt a little under the weather, but as per previous comments it was just from four days of treating my body like hell. What I'm hoping is that my body still got infected by all the PAX poxes. I only go to PAX to build my immune system.
My throat is sore, don't know if that was from the three days of talking/yelling or from being sick.
I'd bet it is probably overuse, under hydration, and general fatigue.
That's what I thought at first, but here it is several days later and my throat is worse and I felt like I was going to pass out all day from fatigue, so I suspect it is indeed the PAX flu 2011. Today the cough and minor phlegm have begun (noooooooo).
Several friends of mine who were at PAX are reporting similar symptoms.
Yeah, I felt like death on Monday and have had a sore throat and general sick feeling this whole week. Although I'm not sure whether that's from PAX or from walking around Boston on Sunday night without a jacket on. Herp derp.
I've got a bit of a cold.
I seem to have picked it up on the very last day (Sunday night).
It didn't kick until Wednesday though. Hopefully it goes away by tomorrow/Saturday.
I think I'm a carrier of the pox.....I didn't get sick but everyone else around me is starting to get sick at work and sadly, I find that more funny than anything.

My POX is finally going away!!! FINALLY! I've spent probably 36 out of the past 48 hours SLEEPING. Which is a lot more than I actually got at PAX so that probably had something to do with it! I hope everyone else suffering with the POX is getting better!
I was exhibiting at PAX and almost every one of our staff members became sick during or immediately following the con. Maybe we spread it to each other? Lots of headaches, sore throats and icky coughing. We had hand sanitizer and everything, but I guess money + hordes of people is a deadly combination.
I was fine until this morning, where I think I am starting to get a cold or something now. Might be a bit late to blame it on PAX, but I can still try :P
On the Monday after PAX, I woke up with my left ear all blocked up and it kinda hurt. I've been taking ibuprofen to deal with the pain and meds to deal with the cold/flu/whatever I have. I haven't had an ear infection since my childhood. Anybody else experience similar symptoms?
Maybe i was lucky but i feel super fine...
I washed my hands after using the controler at console freeplay and same for the mouse at the PC freeplay. That is pretty mush the only thing i did to prevent anything and it worked for me.

Did you also eat sensibly, get plenty of water and sleep? I think that's the big things a lot of people miss at PAX and it really makes a difference.
Also, thanks for washing your hands. It helps not just you, but everyone else (you can't be a carrier)
It's unfortunate, but there was just something going around and it lined up with PAX. It may seem like PAX pox, but really, it's just dirty human pox and completely unrelated to PAX in general. We came home and our kid's were sick, now we're sick and I know lots of people who did not attend PAX, like our children, who are also sick.

I did no slept much between Friday and Sat (5 hours) but i slept a lot between Sat and Sunday (9 hours)
Drank water and pepsi but not in crazy amount and i had to grab the overprice food at the food court so nothing super healthy either.
I work as a dispatcher so im always in contact with truckers from all around North America so maybe my immune system is a little better because of that i don't know.
was fine on Monday, started feeling bad Tuesday afternoon, ok Wednesday morning, then WTF Wednesday afternoon until Thursday evening, and still not feeling totally 'normal'. On top of that, it spread to my little sister and my brother, so they want to hurt me now.

That's what you get for using Worcestershire sauce as an embalming fluid.

From Wed-Sunday I got a total 14 hours of sleep. PAX is a harsh mistress.
