Okay so my internet access at home is all run through a wireless router that is located in the basement (and is where my PC is normally located, except my parents rearranged the basement while I was at school, so now I can't fit my PC near the router (in which case I'd just connect directly to the router)). I left my wireless adapter bit for my PC at school, where I live most of the time, but my laptop has wireless connectivity whatever.
Can I run an ethernet cable from my laptop (which is connected wireless to the house's router) and just access the internet through my PC?
If so, how? I tried to set it up and it just ... fouled up everything.
Both of my computers (laptop and PC) are running Windows Vista, if that helps.
