I know Gabe and Tycho don't read these forums, but I'm also not sure where to go with this.

I found this guy's blog online, and is it okay that he's using (a sanitized version of) John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory without any sort of citation or attribution?

Bitterly Books. For people who hate the written word. (It's all whale dongs and shrill anti-video-game screeds, anyway.)

    You could always email them, but I doubt they'd give a shit.

    I remember an animated picture someone drew of Tycho (if my recollection is correct) fucking Gabe. It was a comic or something.

    I emailed Jerry with it and he just said, "Oh, well". So I doubt they'd care about something like this.

    Gabe's stated he's okay with it a few times, and mainly that it's simply not worth his time to tell people to stop. Look up the Squidi incident if you're really interested.

    even in a supposedly non-commercial setting, I am still wary of non-attributed sourcing of artistic material, especially when it has been altered to a non-parody related end

    I think intellectual property laws should be aggressively reformed, but none of my proposals would allow people to repurpose intellectual material without attribution.
