First, let me apologize for potentially posting on the wrong forum. I wasn't exactly sure which would be the best forum to put this.
This is my Penny Arcade "got wang?" T-shirt. I've now had this shirt for ten years. In that time I've received my license, lived in three different states, graduated high school, graduated from Penn State after attending 2 other universities before that, worked 5 different jobs, become an uncle 9 times over (4 sisters), seen the fall of the dreamcast, the rise of the playstation 2, X-box, gamecube, playstation 3, wii, xbox 360, lived through the launch of World of Warcraft, seen video games take a very unexpected
dynamic turn, and read roughly 1560 Penny-Arcade comics. This T-shirt has seen me through every one of these events. And the times I wear this shirt, it still gets me more comments/compliments than any other t-shirt in my arsenal.
As you may be able to tell, the poor thing is frazzled, frayed, and showing the many miles that have been put on it. I'm posting this to present the idea of a possible "Vintage", "Throwback", or "Nostalgia" Penny-Arcade merchandise store. I can't help but think that I couldn't possibly be the only reader from
way back in the day that would be willing to pay for a classic Penny-Arcade T-shirt. And with the implementation of PATV, it'd be pretty great to see Mike or Jerry wearing one of their vintage designs for a fourth panel run.
I kicked around the possibility of E-mailing Kiko or Erica, but thought it best to just post this hear to see how the feedback would go. My apologies again if I've put this in the wrong forum, or if the idea's already been presented and squashed before.
