also crab im lookin for a solosis if you got an extra one around, i have the little goth thing eqivelant from black if you want a trade.
I honestly haven't really caught any Pokemon outside of the team I used to beat the game, so I don't really have anything extra laying around right now.
I False Swiped Victini down to 1 HP and caught him on my 5th Ultra Ball. Sounds like I was pretty lucky.
I got Zekrom on my first Ultraball at 1 HP and paralyzed. I laughed so hard.
Zekrom and Reshiram's capture rates are 45 instead of the traditional 3 (I think it's 3) for legendaries. I kinda dig the way they integrated the two of them into the games' story lines. I'm interested in how they'll pan out with the inevitable third game in the B/W series.
They share this catch rate with Mew and Celebi (though, with the exception of mew in Emerald, their catch rates aren't important)
Well, I just lucked out big time and found my first shiny in about 10 years (ran into a shiny caterpie in gold or silver, was a kid and had no clue so i killed it >.<)
I now have a brand new shiny Shelmet in my collection! Woo!
I can transfer one tomorrow when I do my ditto moving et all.
That'd be awesome, thanks.
Unity Tower is pretty cool in other news.
Haven't forgotten about this btw, just got back from doing various things. Going to try and get it done once things finish charging. I'm planning on moving over a Ditto and one of my near-perfect Sneasels, maybe the starters and pseudolegendaries, anyone want anything else?

Breed any two Pokémon from two different countries for a four times increase in Shinyness! Dittos are of course the workhorse of any good breeding farm so while the trick isn't technically a ditto trick you'll get the best results from using them.
GODDAMN that credits music was fantastic. The ending was an excellent change of pace for a pokemon game too. I hope that they take the series further down this path in future gens.
First shiny I got was a Ponyta, which I think is one of the better shinies, and i pressed the power button instead of pressing start in SS which wouldn't have worked anyways.... but I had pressed it out of habit.
My all-shiny team (Rapidash, Golem, Roserade, Hitmonlee, Absol, and the red Gyrados from HG/SS) almost took down the Double Battle Train today. His Garbardor got too fast after I tagged it a couple times and took out Gyrados, but I eventually got him down to just his KlinkKlang versus my Golem. He whiffed on his first Flash Cannon, but sadly Golem's Earthquake didn't get the job done and the second Flash Cannon didn't miss.
Oh god, is this ever the truth. B/W has ruined me.
As far as shinies the only shiny I've ever caught was a Fearow in LeafGreen. It didn't even look special.

My shinies were:
- Meowth in Silver
- Linoone in Sapphire (which is ironic because I hate Linoone)
- Graveller in Sapphire (bonus points for it not Selfdestructing)
Haven't seen one since, though

I wants me a Rufflet. I'm not very far in Black, but I have loads of stuff in my Pearl and HG cartridges, if someone wants to set up a sort of triangulated trade.
As your boxes fill up, you get more space. Works even with the tranfer.
And I agree, the transfer stuff is a little crappy. Like the 5 out of 6 Pokemon. It had to be six.

Damn, my third attempt and I still can't get past the third set of Singles in the Battle Subway.
At this rate it's going to take quite a while before I can start purchasing some useful battle items. Why can't I just find some of these in the game?

Wow, just reached the credits.
That finale was fantastic, all of it. The Castle and everything in it (especially N's Room ), the Gym Leaders helping out (there may have been man tears), the Legendary cutscenes, N flying off, all of it. I love Pokemon but I never expected the story to get me like it did.
I put a single pokemon in every box. Did a transfer. Now I have 16 boxes. Neat!
Brought over every starter, every pseudolegendary, my second perfect Sneasel, a Smeargle, a Ralts, a Riolu, a Growlithe, Budew, Rotom, Togepi, Spiritomb, and an Eevee.
Anyone want one of them? I can make eggs fairly easily.
@Mechanical> I have an egg for ya. Hatch or no hatch?
I don't know why you people are having trouble catching legendaries. Quick Balls work pretty damn good. Reshiram fell after two Quick Ball attempts, and I caught Thundurus on my third encounter.

Quick Balls, man. Quick Balls.
Still haven't used my Master Ball yet.
Quick balls only work on the first turn, and they only give 4x the catch rate. Which, on a typical full-health legendary with low catch rate, isn't all that good. Past the first turn, they're only as effective as pokeballs.

I never understood the point of quick balls. They work best at the very start of an encounter? Which means the pokemon is at full health and not paralyzed/asleep/frozen, and thus at its hardest to catch? Uh...
And FYI, don't use Zerkom/Reshiram as a yardstick for catching legendaries. They're as easy to catch as virtually every other off-the-shelf pokemon. I had a harder time catching a lv15 1hp paralyzed Victini.

They're for Abra. Specifically for him, I think. Some legendaries pull the same stunt.
Myself, I just bought Dusk balls and am waiting for that damned cat.. god... cloud... THING to show up, after I hatch these eggs.
Edit: Speaking of eggs -- I have a spare Vullaby and Tirtouga, could use Rufflet and Archen. Anyone?
Sure, KiTA. I've got a Rufflet on the ready and I can hatch an Archen real fast.

They did not. More people are using the ditto trick for bred ones, but really you just have a ton of people playing these games.

The only good place I've found is Pinwheel forest. Both Sewaddle and Venipede give 1 EV.
Cottonee are a bitch to run away from though.

I'm currently EV training Defense in Wellspring Cave, it is a 50-50 chances for the Pokemon that gives the Defense EV and they are low level
Edit: Oh no, EV training this team might be a waste if I'm just gonna try to get a shiny of each!
