Makes me wish the boxes had an auto-sort function. Finding crap amidst all my newly transfer Pokes is hopeless and the thought of sorting it all out by hand makes me ill.

I sort by type, so yeah there's some cohesion, but mix in the random Pokes I caught in Unova and I just wish it could be a one button thing, especially now that we're in the 600 range + extras (like my unowns)

I put a single pokemon in every box. Did a transfer. Now I have 16 boxes. Neat!
Brought over every starter, every pseudolegendary, my second perfect Sneasel, a Smeargle, a Ralts, a Riolu, a Growlithe, Budew, Rotom, Togepi, Spiritomb, and an Eevee.
Anyone want one of them? I can make eggs fairly easily.
@Mechanical> I have an egg for ya. Hatch or no hatch?
I would take a growlithe if you have one lying around/hatchable.
I can make you one after class tomorrow. I'm at the tail end of my day here, just waiting on V to join the lobby.

No rush. If you don't care to go nature hunting I can just take a female and breed on my end.

Does anyone else have this kind of problem? Where you get "communicating with ..." or "... has contacted you" but no menu appears? And eventually it just drops you out, or says "... failed to respond!"?
Jolly good. I've reluctantly decided to add the ice cream to my team. It looks ridiculous but I need at least one special attacker that doesn't overlap with types I already have.

I had that problem last night KiTA. Pain in the ass since I had no problems trading before.
Looks like the game doesn't want to let us trade. I searched google and one person said something about having the C-gear on (which doesnt make sense to me). Another said make sure all the ports on your router are open. All my bars are strong, the indicator is indicator on both pieces of tech, and I've certainly been on the GTS lately.
So consider me stumped. Maybe it'll just have to wait.

Reading around, apparently we both ahve to have our c-gears on, or the game glitches and times out. Lets both exit and make sure they're on?

Is it just me or is every second attack from any pokemon a crit? For fun I've been trying to Nuzlocke challange my way through Black but i just got stomped hard by all these goddamn crits. Finally wiped just after the 3rd gym, even after i kinda bended the rules a bit... but jesus.. cirts.. wow.
What's the good pokemon for catching others? Smeargle? Something like that anyway. I'm looking for something to fill the role of capturemon. Haven't finished up Victory Road or become the champion yet though, if that matters.
Phew, finally, and yes C-gear was on. What a bullshit thing to have.
So maybe that might be a good thing to note in the first post: C-gear needs to be turned on for it to work.
Even if that's not true, and it was all in our minds, and the trade worked via a stroke of luck, it could still make people not have to suffer through frustration.

No, I mean, to confirm -- did you exit and turn your C-Gear on, or was it on the entire time?
Mine was on apparently. Trying to figure out if this was just random lag, or if there's a bug where if you don't have your C-Gear on, you don't get to do Nintendo WFC connections in the WiFi lobby...
It was off initially and then when I logged off, turned it on, then came back is when everything was working.
If that's the case, that C-gear needs to be on, then that's a troublesome thing.

So what's the deal with the Wi-Fi train in the Battle Subway?
Do I have to beat the game first before I can use it? Google and Gamefaqs are both being most unhelpful about this.
Only thing I could find is that C-Gear has to be on. Also, apparently you can't play with a friend like in HG/SS. You get dumped in Random Wi-Fi Battle mode where you get random opponents.
Trading works just fine without C-Gear personally. I never have C-Gear on and me and Nerd have zero issues even though an ocean seperates us.
So, how exactly do I progress in the abyssal ruins? Following the map online gets me to the cuneform thing but I can't make stairs appear.
I had some success with reading some of the stuff on the walls along the way. I certainly didn't try to translate anything, though. I also wasn't able to get to the third floor, although I didn't try very hard. Maybe when I'm poor again.
- Graveller in Sapphire (bonus points for it not Selfdestructing)
My shiny Golem started as a Graveller in Diamond. I saw it sparkle, heaved a Quick Ball, and now I have a golden nugget (with Rock Head instead of Sturdy, now that Sturdy is a useful ability :P).

If you want to get to the second floor you can't get lost; the pink block that bars your way translates to something along the line of "King doesn't get lost" if you take a wrong turn.
To take the correct turns, change direction every time you come to a prime-numbered intersection (2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th) then find that same block (which should be nearby). The block will translate to "Go on, brave King" and move aside.
On the second floor you need to be able to use Flash when you find the block that translates to "Shine if agreed". The third floor requires Strength ("Act strong if agreed").
Bear in mind that the inscriptions on the stones are written backwards. If you don't want to go through the hassle of learning the codes (they change on each floor), just look for the ones that start with an XYY pattern (the end of "agreed") and you'll probably have the right one.

3DS on the 27th...
Is it GTS lag? My lag? Some odd bug?
Which route do I access Mistralton Cave from?

Yes. Route 6. Head north slightly from the healing house and then to the right. Surf down the river.

Threw a premier ball

I've definitely had to exit and reenter, though

Although I'm pretty sure the game is insulting me choosing the city over the forest via NPCs.
