I don't know how people had trouble with Victini. I smashed him until he was in the read, threw Thunder Wave on him and caught him with one Ultra Ball.

Seconding this. Hell, I had such an easy time with him I reset and caught him multiple times until I got a Nature I wanted.
So this morning I discover that after you crush the dreams and take the (considerable) lunch money of the Riches for six straight days it won't let you fight them anymore.
Yup. Taking lunch money from jocks is just poetic in a way.
Although on that topic... why does everything in this world need to be pokemon-themed? Soccer balls and basketballs, really? I suppose I should thank the sprite artist for not including a football in the "Linebacker" sprite.

Marketing.
Pokemon is not a game, it's a lifestyle. In the morning I change out of my Pikachu pajamas and eat a bowl of Pokemon cereal with fresh Militank Milk. Then I brush my teeth with a Squirtle toothbrush before I slide on my trainer's cap and grab my Charizard backpack and head out into the forest to electrocute mice, birds, and cats before I stuff them in a box and begin breeding ruthless killers.

Surely you meant Moomoo Milk. Because that's what it's called.
5, 6, 7 BP for respectively 7, 14 and 21 win streak on super single.
SHADOW REAL ORIGINAL THERE
Just went back and saw this. You only get 2 more BP than regular single so forget it. Infernape fucks the single train up.
Pretty much every pokemon in the game fucks the regular single train up. It's pretty much a joke.
I like the super train because it's actually interesting from the first battle. Maybe not getting BP as fast because I'm actually losing a lot, but it's entertaining.
And I've gotten to around 26 wins three or four times now. Haven't gotten to 28 yet. Pretty good considering I don't have a Focus Sash yet for my Gengar to go to work.

I'd like to reiterate that I caught him with a Net Ball. Yellow Bar.

Was Zekrom supposed to be a hard catch? Since it's story related, I was wondering if they give you sort of a pass on the thing?
I caught him with his health still in the yellow, no status, with my 2nd ultra ball.
I know everyone is one to the new, shinier, better Black/White phenomenon, but would anyone be able to help a poor helpless, money-less soul with a couple trade evolutions on Heartgold? It would be much appreciated!
There, that is my best attempt at pity. Something tells me I shouldnt bring my geetar downtown and sit on the curb...

I'm actually still poking around in SoulSilver (FC in sig). At the steps of the Elite 4, and can easily trade over the weekend (busy tonight, and at work ATM). I think I've got some trade evos/trash to do some swapping with, but I'll have to look!
So yeah, finally made my way to the end of abyssal chasm. Wtf, I earned 1.5 million P from that. I've never been able to even make half that in previous games.
After buying all the EV vitamins I'll need I still have 700k >.>

Hahaha, I'm letting my brother play through my Black version as he doesn't own a DS. I say to him (jokingly); 'you can use repels to get through grass quicker, but you might miss out on getting a shiny...'
As soon as I finish saying it a shiny Tranquill pops out at him.
Then I say 'Tynamo are pretty rare in this cave, it's easier on the bottom floor.' Two steps into the entrance and his first encounter is a Tynamo.

I had 2.8 million last night when I decided to finally pick up all of the TMs that are for sale in the various towns (already got the ones in the Shopping Center). For those curious, that will set you back about 1.1 million if you aren't using an Entralink discount power (which I tried to do, but my tree wasn't offering to my wife).
Gonna save my million for breeding. Probably going to farm BP for vitamins as always; 10k for one vitamin is a huge rip-off. You'd need 200k just for one dude!

I still need to buy 5 power items so I have to save my BP for that.
well there's also that wealthy family you can keep rematching every day that let you rake in tons of cash with an amulet coin
I think you can't battle them anymore after you beat the sixth one, though. Or so many times after you beat the sixth one, or something like that.
However, I read somewhere that as long as you don't beat the sixth one, you can just keep farming the first five every day. So even though you'll lose some money when you throw the sixth fight, you'll still be netting quite a lot of pokeyen, without drying up your cash-miltank.

I really hope that's not the case considering I beat the 6th guy last night expecting to be able to repeat them forever.
It'd be p lame if I had to actually grind the elite 4 instead
Anyone started building a team in earnest? I'm still waiting on the Global link for all the Dream World abilities, can't wait for Techniloom and Skill Link Cinccino.
Eh. I only have two breeding projects planned as of now. Gonna wait until a number of Dream World abilities are released before going on a breeding frenzy.
Gonna have to test the waters of 3v3, specifically team preview and selecting three out of six based on it. I hear Japanese players have fully trained monsters that will wreck your shit.
I mean, shit, team preview makes 3v3 more complicated than 6v6! You're not, like, "oh I know what you're using so I can base my predictions on that," you're more like, "what ARE you going to use and what will I use to counter what you're using?"
Then there's Zoroark. In 6v6 you know it's there somewhere. In 3v3 it's anyone's guess. And since entry hazards are almost non-existant in 3v3, it can actually be an illusion of something that would normally give it away. Mind games galore!
I think why I like zoroark so much is that I can do dumb shit and it becomes strategy.
like leading with hariyama or tangrowth or something

I've started on some, while waiting on others that are much better in their Dream World ability (Amoonguss). But I keep seeing new pokemon and thinking "Ooh, I'll add him!" and end up with 12 guys to fill 6 spots

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that they have a jacked up catch rate due to it being mandatory.
Again: I do not regret burning my Master Ball on it.
