Wii Second remote Issue in Raymon

How the hell do you get the Wii to recognise the second contoller in the multiplayer part for this game?

Nothing is in the manual about it and there is nothing obvious on the screen. I tried to press buttons 1 + 2 like in wiisports but to no avail.

Can someone help please?

Hm. When you go to multiplayer you should be able to create profiles for each person playing. After that when you select a game the second controller should work for the other player. I personally didn't find it to be very confusing.

What it automatically picks up the fact you have another controller?

I have the other controller there but it does not pick it up. It comes up saying you need another contoller.

Other games work with it.

Does your Wii recognize all the controllers on the main menu? If you let the controllers sit for too long they'll stop being detected by the system in order to save power.

I haven't tested this, but, it's possible rayman doesn't detect a 2nd controller unless it too has a nunchuck attached, since 90% of rayman's minigames use both the wiimote and the nunchuck.

It could be that. how do you get the main menu to detect two controllers?

Yeah, it sounds to me like he never synced them. If you don't have two hands floating around the main menu, of course Rayman won't know about the second controller either.

I can get the second controller to work for Wii sports.

Can you get them both working on the main menu? By just pressing the red sync button?

You only use the 1st player controller on the Rayman main menu. (And to add more players.)

The first player has to click "Add Another Player" or whatever in score mode before the second player can input anything.

I have done that but it still only uses one controller!!

I believe you have to hit the Home button on the first wiimote and then re-sync all the controllers from the Home menu.
