Best/most compact music player?

So I've been using WinAMP for awhile now and am wondering if there is something smaller? Not that WinAMP uses a lot of resources, but I wouldn't mind seeing what else is out there.

    I didn't like foobar2000 at first, mainly because it was different and seemed too "busy", but after messing with it I'm digging it. It's extremely customizable, and very easy to do so, so you could just have a bar of buttons if you wanted.

    How do I do this? Sorry, I feel dumb.

    Also, is there a plugin so hitting the close button works the same as the minimize button? I know, dur, it's redundant but a lot of programs do it and I'm used to it.

    I don't remember where I saw it offhand. You may have to download a custom theme to do that specific thing. If you go to View > Layout > Enable Layout Editing Mode, you can play around with it. Otherwise, just try googling for "foobar2000 themes".

    Thanks. Still looking for a plugin that makes it so hitting X closes the program to the system tray. I tend to hit minimize to lower things to the taskbar, so I'm not liking that X fully closes Foobar.
