By the way, for those of you that care about this shit, Jones is switching from HFCS to cane sugar some time in the next few months.
High Fructose Corn Syrup.....seriously, does anyone LIKE the idea of drinking that?
I don't get this. I mean, if you don't want to consume HFCS that's your business but I don't get why you would act shocked that many people don't care. I haven't heard a single compelling explanation of why HFCS is worse for you than cane sugar. If you notice a difference in taste, knock yourself out. Not everyone is going to notice a difference or if they do, they may not dislike the taste of HFCS.
I didn't make myself clear. It's not about taste or health issues. Just say this aloud: High. Fructose. Corn. Syrup.
Now say: Cane. Sugar.
Based off of the names alone, which would YOU rather drink.

I don't know Tiger, that's pretty..retarded? I mean, deciding what to eat by how long the name of the ingredient is or how complicated it sounds? Wow.
Im not saying thats how i decide and its not about word length. I guess to me High Fructose Corn Syrup sounds disgusting because, it sounds like a chemical, i hate corn in all states that aren't popped, and then to tack syrup at the end....just ew.....plus i have SEEN pure corn syrup and it looks nasty.
Cane Sugar sound more natural and friendly.
does this mean i won't drink sodas that have HFCS? no...i just don't look at the ingredients.

But you're still judging an ingredient in a product based on how the name sounds instead of what it actually is and how your body treats it. Do me a favor, avoid consuming Dihydrogen Monoxide whenever possible.

I know that neither HFCS or Cane Sugar will kill me if consumed in reasonable amounts. Also, i have stated that my dislike for HFCS's nomenclature or presence has no actually weight on my decisions about what beverages to drink. Basically my point was this: HFCS sounds nasty.
Now, for what ever reason, this struck a chord with you and you decided to stand your philosophical ground. In doing so you have turned an off-handed and unserious comment into a boring discussion based almost entirely off of your misunderstanding of my intent.

but i have had a bad brand of it which just tasted like bad cordial
but the good stuff is so nice
these holidays ive been going to a korean grocery store like a couple of times a week just to get peach water and korean cigarettes
during semester i can get the cigs somewhere else and its hard to find the peach water which is the only reason i dont have it every single day
because i seriously would if it was sold at uni
probably like 2 or 3 bottles if it was the same low price
Korean cigs? What is the appeal?
i think i got hooked cos of smoking with korean friends in high school
they are fairly smooth and light. and theyre a bit cheaper too
basically anytime i have to buy cigs somewhere else i end up looking at the brands for like 5 minutes before choosing something random. i dont really like the usual brands and they can cost $3 more than the korean ones
only shitty thing is that they are harder to find, and for some reason they stopped importing my favourite brand, so what i get now isnt quite as satisfying, but still alrite
I don't buy drinks to have at home.
I get frustrated when i get a big thing of soda or juice, and i just drink it up. I know thats the point, but it always feels like a needless expense when water is so readily available.
The only exceptions are coffee and tea.
In fact it is the opposite for those, in that i will not buy them from vendors when it is so cheep and easy to do at home.
I can't sleep. Its 6:42 and I haven't slept since I woke up at about 1:30 yesterday afternoon. So I'm kickin back and watching some Critic dvds while sippin on some of this;
Its delicious and I don't even like tea's, but this might get me to like them.
Any recommondations for other good tea's?
Yeah, I recommend ANYTHING by that brand. I've had about 5 different varieties of theirs, and each one has been delicious.

It makes my stomach feel a lot better when it hurts.
But goddammit I can't stop drinking it.

What is your height and weight and body fat %?
I proclaim you....not fatty.
I have no say in the matter.

there is a handmade chocolate shop near me that sells blocks of chocolate all ready to melt in milk and that is the most delicious thing ever
So.....what are you wearing?

get rid of that milk shit
get some small cups, like the ones they serve tea in at chinese restaurants
fill that with pure melted chocolate
Where may I find some of this deliciousness?

I'm too cheap for liquids.
This is very true.
A place called Cocoa on Ecclesall Road
tl;dr: HFCS causes Diabeetus, among other things. It's just not good for you.
As far as drinks go, I do enjoy jasmine green tea. Can't find it much anymore, and it's hard to get the mix right when combining the separate teas.
http://www.cocoasheffield.co.uk/index.htm
as long as you get one of the sweet ones and not that one 'with catchetins' or whatever
normally i get the jasmine tea stuff but they also got good fruit teas, like raspberry and lychee
i think they may just be jasmine tea with fruit flavouring
either way they are delicious
the pink ones are peach water
if you ever see these you must buy them
i have never seen the green one though
apparently it is apple
I love you.
