Trying to remember a TV special from a decade ago.

(Around a decade ago, most likely a little longer).

I believe it was on the Discovery Channel (or Animal Planet), and it was about the future of life on Earth. They imagined what it might be like in a thousand years, a hundred thousand years, etc, and then animated it.

I remember one of the creatures was like this giant squid with hundreds of tentacles that swung from trees. And then another was this weird mole-like creature that would burrow in the ground and be hunted by giant bats at night.

It was silly, but I thoroughly enjoyed it when I was a kid.

I hate you and you hate me.

I think I may have seen what you're talking about but I don't remember what it's called, so unfortunately all I can do is confirm its existence.

    Hey, you rock!

I actually found that too, but dismissed and didn't do any further reading on it once I found out it was a multi-part series (I could have sworn it was just a one hour special!).

    THANKS!

    Andddd it's on Amazon. Sweet!
