It's incredibly gold efficient when kept at 8 stacks as well. Plus it's better than deathcap for being an annoying jerk that kills towers when everyone is distracted (Though of course the ideal is having both)

I never said I didn't get rageblade, I just don't rush it. I start dorans ring, then farm up to 1950g (i usually solo lane with her), go back and get boots + needlessly large rod. Rush hat, then sheen, then rageblade, then lichbane. Rod > rageblade in terms of damage I think.

I routinely see people initiate a team fight when they see Nid go jaguar - she can't just pounce into an initiation because she'll die instantly, and she can't stand off and do the support thing for about a second and a half. Going into cougar at the wrong time is bad, bad, bad news.
Keeping the stacks up in such a way as to prevent these situations is a learnable skill, but it's not perfect - because you can't always perfectly predict your opponents actions. Chances are you'll end up leaving your team vulnerable at least once a game, in my experience. Either that or you let your stacks drop at the only time they really matter.
I find cougar form is only good for farming creep/jungle and chasing/retreating. Otherwise I find it just better to get a blue buff and start chucking spears and healing like a support. Her heal scales retardedly well and being in cougar form in a team fight is just bad news, she's just too squishy.

The difference between a buff and a bugfix is pretty huge. Ki Strike being uninterruptable was annoying, but the change doesn't really make him any stronger. He just works the way he's supposed to work now.

They should stop making new champs in the first place. New champs every two weeks is getting old, I'd much rather see them concentrate on tweaking and fixing what is already out.
I hope they don't actually bring Lee Sin out, so far this has been an incredibly funny April fools joke and watching people rage is great.
I'd just rather see them fix the game up instead releasing new champs all the time.

In case you're not aware, upon leveling up every champ automatically gets max health, max mana, hp/5, mp/5, attack damage, armor, and attack speed. A naked level 18 Tristana, for example, will attack roughly 55% faster than a level 1 Tristana.
Caitlyn is getting buffed from ~47% attack speed bonus to 54% at level 18. Not a huge deal, but it is like a free 200 gold worth of AS.

Yep. It's a shame because he's a fun champion with an interesting design but as long as he's so overpowered nobody is ever going to get to play him in serious games (e.g. not blind pick).

The other day in ranked Shen didn't get banned and somehow wasn't first-picked by the enemy team. I was second rated on my team and got to grab him.
I enjoyed that game immensely.

I've gotten pretty happy with my current stable of picks, and want to start branching out more.

Well, can play is different from being able to carry the game on my shoulders. I can play just about every char passably well. But I can singlehandedly induce a 20 minute surrender on Karthus in a good game. My concern is that I'll devote myself to a champion, then watch him get crushed under nerfs and have my heart broken. Hence I need somebody who's secretly OP. Like, somehow Shen is still getting buffs even so I doubt he'll get nerfed soon. I just wish there were one of him for every role.

also no offense bro but you're sub-30. you're able to solo carry a game as karth because you're playing against people who saw that karth has hit six and they're at 300 HP, hurf durf better go stay in lane and farm these creeps instead of backing
also you should know how to jungle, and play more than the top banned tank in the game before even touching ranked at the very least

To put it simply, if you go into Ranked without a good understanding of the game, and knowledge of pretty much every champion's abilities, you'll probably crash your ELO to somewhere around 900 and then spend the next few months telling us how much you hate the awful players who live at that level and how much better you are than them.
Spend a little time watching a decent high ELO livestream so you know what the basics are (TreeEskimo is the best available for learning, as he gives good commentary, but HotShot, bigfatlp, Wickd, Reginald (if you mute him) all have their basics pretty much nailed on their streams and you can learn by example; steer clear of Guardsman Bob, as while he's good, he plays dreadful music and often plays characters he's really bad at). Then spend a decent amount of time practicing in Normal.
I am enjoying Ez quite a bit and may now require all my champs have some sort of skillshot, or it wont be nearly as fun. In solo queue Ive taken to just launching my ultimate at a random lane whenever I go back for a shopping trip, just to see if I can kill anyone. I have to profess a decently average 50% success rate at such a tactic. Luckily, by the time Im done shopping and doing a few Qs, my ultimate tends to be back up for ganking the runners.
Seems I need to try Nida, I had one in a game yesterday that had some kind of hardon for trying to kill me. Her moves looked awesome though.
