I think that video just stole the thread away.

Some people are nice and some people hit thieves with a bicycle.

One time I left my debit card inside the ATM machine and drove away and the guy behind me noticed and actually chased me down for a few miles until he could pull alongside me and flash my card at me and get me to pull over. That was a really rad thing to do.

One time I chased a man down that was riding a bike that was stolen on my watch the day before. He said he bought if for $40. I told him it was mine and I wasn't letting him go until I got it back. I was probably around 13 and maybe 5' 5" and about a buck forty. He was probably in his late 20's and well over 6' and not a string bean.

He said you got heart kid. Gave me the back back and walked his happy ass off into the sunset.

    That was nice of him.

I didn't even have to use my telescoping baton.

I donate monthly to the Guide Dogs Association here. Makes me feel nice when they send a newsletter telling me how many new "recruits" and facilities they get through donations.

    Eveything's fine!

My family donates to the RNLI and we get their newsletter, which is nice.

I have to be very polite to my customers at work, the boss insists, but I don't mind. Sometimes old people just want to talk and waffle on. I discuss the weather about thirty times a day, where I work there is a generally nice community.

Sure was foggy early this morning.

Cleared up now though, eh, Liiya?

Nice and sunny. Couple of clouds. Think it'll rain, Liiya?

If I'd known it would get this bright, I would've brought my sunglasses.

    Do you have sunglasses, Liiya?

I never want to know the names of mere underlings either, it makes them too human, and far harder to beat with my ebony cane when they get uppity.

I usually do small things, like if a customer is missing five cents I'll say it's fine and run after customers when they forget their things (This is hard though because you can't always know if they are going down to the garage or out into the parking lot)
Also holding doors for peoples: Fuck yes.

Probably the nicest thing I've ever done was help this old guy get his scooter to a gas station. The tire had come off the back wheel, and I was late for school but I decided: Fuck it, let's drag this heavy ass scooter some 700 meters. The old guy gave me like 6 euros despite my protests.

One time me and some friends also tried to help push a car up a very icy road, but it was impossible to get it up there.

I am the king of holding doors open, but I think that's just because I have long arms.

I was brainwashed from an early age to do this, and to give up my seat on the bus to old people, and anyone else who looks like they need it more than me. I say brainwashed because I don't even think about it, it just happens. Thanks, Mom!

I offer to help people with their bags and baggage when I got off my usual train. It's amazing how many of them are surprised by that! Little old ladies saying "are you sure?" while you move all of five kilos of bag, as if the effort will suddenly break you in half

Oh, and once I dropped my contact lens and a giant bearded biker dude the size of Ben Nevis helped me look for it. I gave him my weekly bus pass as a sort of helpful gesture, seeing as it still had 24 hours to go and I had no more use for it. Guess it saved him all of three quid but whatever

    hero of the goddamn day

I had a dream once where some dudes tried to jack my bike and my only defense was to hit them with my bike.

    That was an awesome dream.

    That is an amazing video.

I love that he walks towards them slowly, then when they get up runs the hell away.

And then they run the opposite direction and into a dude that actually does kick their ass. Magical.

Most of my kind deeds involve spending money because I'm still a teenager and can get away with being financially irresponsible. I've donated money to friends in need but also bought a lot of games for random forumers.

Maybe when I grow up I'll have to stop.

We had some bushfires near where I live and a mate of mine organised for people to give up spare rooms for people who lost their homes or just couldn't go back home until it was safe. I had no room for people but I manage to get a horse and like 5 dogs out of there and down to my place. It was a big ole dr Doolittle sleepover party
